Hans said what anyone else would of done when being pipped at the post for a gold medal .... come on we all did it in 2004 (well the TEAM GB fans did anyway) you have to blame someone else and a bad workman always blames his tools. In all honesty the "cheating" comment I find a bit strong, we brought our reserve in no ones calling us cheats, we had bugger all to gain from letting Olly have a ride out and lets face it if our 2 GP riders couldn't win a race what hope did Olly have? So the Poles reserve scored whatever it was and helped his team to lift the trophy, surely if it was cheating the referee would of had something to say as would Ole Olsen and also the track doctor None of them seemed to raise and eyebrow.

No excuses we were rubbishe, all the action was at the front of each race, we might as well have been riding squads! Let's face it we just were not fast enough, one thing I did notice a fair few times though we were riding the inside line whilst the others seemed to be out wide in the dirt. Now I'm no speedway rider and never professed to be one but if others are riding out wide and beating said last placed rider almost every race, would it not be a good idea to think about trying the line they are racing? (having re-read that there's a couple of excuses there from me so I lied sorry ) At a rough guess I'd say it was because during the meeting there was a tad too much chat on the thread. Hmmmmmm as patriotic as I am, I find that a bit unfair as there were certainly a few of us spitting ours out at the end of SWC 2004 like he said 2nd is the first loser Not from me I'm afraid, yes the Poles won but they didn't have it all their way did they? So does anyone know how the draw for gates is done? we see in the GP's that first through get the choice, if this is the case then I would of expected the Danes to go for Blue unless they know something we don't if they did and went for another gate and then it was our choice I'd like to think Middlo would of gone for Blue. If it's a case of 1st Through gets Red etc.... then we should surely have Blue Come on TEAM GB
