Quite a discussion going on HERE Shortoi. Not sure what you think is up with it but....... for those that don't know the sport will sort of look at it and wonder what the hell it is all about, I just laugh at Antonio his expressions are classic my little girl (humongous Scottie fan) hmmmmmmmm not impressed with the scantily glad young (cough cough) ladies -
Frustrating Start For George Piper
shazzybird replied to Wildcat Steve's topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
Sad news about the engine Steve, expensive ol' business it when something like this happens. Good luck for the season George. -

History books can say what they like Johnnie Hoskins Gentleman and a scholar "Godfather" of speedway If it hadn't been for this wonderful man I may never have been able to go to speedway, he brought it to Kingsmead, my dad became involved through work and encouraged my Uncle to "have a go" he was then given the nickname "Hurricane" by JH and the rest as they say is history

Reading Host World Cup?
shazzybird replied to Rema & Ben's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
We are talking the dogs danglies of a meeting, if the track does not improve drastically soon there will be unhappy fans that have had the Reading Experience already and could find the WTC being a damp squid, people taking the option to stay at home, rather than pay out for a meeting which as my ignorant partner says "first out the trap wins yawn yawn yawn" -

I was referring to the "Rooting For" comment apparently that means something rude in Australia (well according to Marty it does anyway ) -

Shame really, he couldn't be any worse than who we've had before. Sam Ermolenko may well have whoop whoop woooooo all night but he was loud and seemed to get into it. Kev Coombs hmmmmmmmm he's Eastbourne only one good thing about that place and it's not him Other side of the country for me too so can sympathise there, GP line up yep agree there (am beginning to wonder why I'm going now ) You really shouldn't say things like that about an Aussie apparently it means something really rude in Australia. -
Wow someone had a little nest egg stashed away didn't they

Sensible idea but what if Mike Bennett gets the call will you still have the same idea I go to Cardiff with my Dad and a few of the family it's our weekend away, if Dad didn't go I don't suppose I would anymore. (so it's his fault) What if they were to hold it say, Coventry, Eastbourne even at Belle Vue would it be just as expensive or is it becuase it's in the millenium stadium? -

Let's go back to Eastbourne for the WTC, loads of parking spaces and can see the track wherever you stand/sit -
