  1. Hardly a surprise, ostrow probably get 5-6,000 a home match. Best track in the world 500 folk at Berwick and we still can't produce a consistant race surface. As we have spoken about when Bellego fancies it he could easily net 12-13 points at Shielfield
  2. If Ryan Fisher refinds his Edinburgh form, the Panthers will be a real outfit, Blackbird has been tremendous this season Well done to them, they did the job and more
  3. 2002 We lost at home to Edinburgh with Peter Carr scoring a maximum 2003 Got utterly pounded by Sheffield 37-53 again at home These sort of scores happen I didn't envisage Berwick beating Plymouth so easily at the SBA. Kings Lynn generally who were immaculate at home season in season out in 2008 got beaten similarly by 20 points off Birmingham. Stars ended up 3rd behind Edin and Somerset These scores happen, the 2 meetings above were both poor performances but a good team will re-find the winning formula. If we don't, well we have actually managed to keep our season alive past may which in essence is progress for our management team. Ref K Doolan - While people say Doolan is finished he achieved at 7.5 return last season riding in 3 or 4 of those races with Lasse Bjerre. Doolan is instantly employable assuming he sees the season out 5.5 average. Most teams in the league will want his services Ii have a feeling Doolan if let go would re-find his form and be a cracking signing on a average say 2 points less than his starting average for us this year.
  4. where's ya big report tonight scotty? no waxing lyrical about the club Fear not its Plymouth next week
  5. yeah but at least the team is in contention this year.. fair point in previous seasons though
  6. Up until a few weeks ago we were riding to our abilities. Maybe a bit of complacency has creeped in Move on regroup, a few words said tonight Crack on with the season taking every meeting as it's a final Ride like that against a full strength Edinburgh team or Scunny we wont get 40
  7. tbf to the panthers they booked a high quality guest in Lawson at Glasgow and he scored 4
  8. Next we'll have folk saying he will be competing with Woffinden for the world title At his best yes he will score a lot of points usually on the flat out circuits Plenty to improve on i.e small and tight tracks
  9. king be on a handy 8 pt average for next year . should be up there in the high nine's with claus vissing and matej Kus next season
  10. Good news, hopefully the fact it's a tv meeting will spur the lads on... Surely we cant be classed as a small club now?
  11. Vissing up against Fisher and Bjerre should be interesting. Was looking forward to this meeting plus the return fixture pre season. home win by 6
  12. I personally hope Lawson doesn't get banned he's been Redcar's shinning light. Havvy will probably get Richard Hall or Pepe Franc in on the cheap to replace him. We dont want a weaker PL
  13. Proctor is not a No1 the mistake Somerset made was signing him in the first place He was a panic signing to replace PL legend Jason Doyley. I felt the lack of information on Doyle's situation was poor but maybe Somerset's hands were tied. Nice guys generally finish last in life, Somerset want to win I admire that Your quite happy supporting your run of the mill club who seem content just suriving The Somerset fans seem quite happy with there promotion. No Problem
  14. seems like redcar made a match of it, fair play I don't rate them at all
  15. pretty sure wolbert netted 13 points there in 2011... Can't understand why he is still there
  16. We should win with plenty left in the tank Lawson will win 3 or 4 races as per maybe 5 if on best form The rest, should not give us anything to worry about
  17. Newcastle is what it is. British Speedway tracks bar a very select few produce bog standard racing.on a regular basis Berwick being one of them. Good tracks seem to be in mostly Poland Sweden and Germany
  18. Vissing now finds himself 2nd in the Pollish Liga averages, putting world greats like Emil sayfutdinov and tai woffinden to shame
