  1. Edwards didn't deserve the exclusion, if he'd carried on wider he'd have crashed because Worrall only just made it sound the turn. Exact same as the Doyle gp crash for me. Ref sticks with the bigger name. Ben Cook though is one for the future - hugely impressive at Foxhall recently for Peterborough, not that many points but the way he rode. Poole much superior from the starts and King made several schoolboy errors.
  2. First out of the start mostly so far, hope the ruts develop to make it unpredictabke
  3. They did sort the drainage out though, which is a big help and they also pack it down hard before a meeting so any rain runs off rather than soak in - not rocket science but very sensible and all credit to them.
  4. I was there and updates won't tell the story, Cook did well last night and didn't settle for his position like most of the other Peterborough riders
  5. That's very harsh, he was their best rider given his lack of experience at Foxhall and first year in premiership. He was pressuring riders ahead, made a couple of good starts and passed as well. He was only passed by iversen in heat 9 because he was trying to overhaul Rew and made a mistake. Peterborough's weaknesses are elsewhere.
  6. Cook was Boro's best rider. Unlucky that ht14 was re-run and was looking to pass whilst Iversen was doing his best to pass him!
  7. I always watched the hot rods here as a boy, Barry Lee vs Mick Collard, only a couple of years ago.....
  8. Don't know if they showed on TV but Doyle was getting it sideways around the hot rod circuit after that race, he's enjoying it!
  9. Much better from basso but Cook has been the rider of the night for me for the Panthers, looked quick and keen.
  10. Iversen should have done better there given the start he made and Andersen really needs to retire. Good from Cook there, their reserves the stars for them so far
  11. Basso continuing his impressive away form! Jenkins looked good in heat 2.
  12. That was this afternoon! Crowd down on normal, maybe about 1600 here?
  13. Blue sky on and off, no rain since the earlier thunderstorm, nice and dry in my garden
  14. On the updates site it seems they had Ben Barker lined-up for tonight at Sheffield?
  15. Nicholls beat both the Ipswich top two a couple of weeks ago and his average is only 5. something so you never know!
  16. Not sure which of those could be used but would say only Fricke, Bewley and Kurtz would do better than Jakobsen
  17. Nice blue sky here now so looks all set to me for some fast times tonight.
  18. Now having a heavy thunderstorm where I am (1.5 miles from Foxhall). Who knows, maybe if the sun comes out as forecast later it will dry up.
