In my personal experience Danny King has never been that prolific at Wimborne Road so am a touch surprised about this signing personally. Whilst he is a top rider in the Championship, he's not great at our place but I guess that can improve riding it every week. Having said the above, welcome Danny

Not true. I can't make (many) Thursdays due to family commitments, Wednesdays are fine and have always been kept free for Poole Speedway. The change to Thursday meant my attendance dropped significantly as I cannot change my family situation on a Thursday. So there you finally have what you've been craving... my reason for not attending much this year!

No decision has yet been made about possibly dropping down to the Championship so let's not get too hung up on it until that announcement is made. Improved tv broadcasting cash is on the table (so the rumour has it) so this may swing things the other way... No matter what happens, I'll always support the mighty Pirates!

You haven't got a clue who I am so you will never know when/if I attend. I have been going to Poole regularly since the mid 70's and have always remained loyal to them. IF Poole dropped down to the Championship I will continue to attend and support them. That's what a TRUE fan/supporter does! p.s. FYI - We're currently in the PL (Premier League) DOH!!
