It was only a matter of time before this was announced and I'm personally gutted. Our team in 2016 will be a very pale imitation of what we tracked as little as 2 years ago. The EL is currently in a very poor state indeed.

ALL existing Sky (only) subscribers will HAVE to pay an extra £20 per month or change broadband provider. So nope, were not being forced to do anything at all are we?!? Is it that hard to comprehend..?

I have been reading the thread... The point is that I or nobody else should need to change broadband provider. I have free Sky broadband so why would I change to BT to pay for it and then add another fiver on top!?! For the record I do have access to BT Sport on my laptop, however watching on 14" screen isn't quite the same as a 50" HD tellybox with cinema surround sound is it? Yes I can plug the Laptop into the telly using a HDMI cable, but I am infrequently able to watch the GP's live and have to wait until our littlun' has gone to bed. So, it's not as black and white for all of us!!!

Are you for real? Try reading the thread to understand what has been posted. It will cost Sky subscribers £20 a month EXTRA to watch the GP's and that is a huge increase on the already extortionate price for having Sky Sports.

So anyone who subscribes to Sky (and lets be honest, the majority of folk do including myself) has to shell out another 20 squid a month to watch the GP's and World Cup...and a handful on here see fit to say it's great news! Well Newsflash, it's not!!! Far less folk have BT Sport than Sky, so more viewers lost is how I see it. Sky's monthly bill (for me) is already at bursting point and I (like a lot of others) won't be shelling out another £20 from April to October. And before anyone says just move to BT instead, why would I or anyone else want to lose hundreds of channels for a pretty minor saving???

For those that keep mentioning Chris Holder riding anywhere other than Poole next season or any other season...NEWSFLASH...he's stated numerous times he will only ever ride for Poole in the EL. He even did this as recently as a few weeks ago as quoted on the GP website. I posted a link at the time. If that's not good enough for you then will anything be? Personally I think he'll come good and will be a more than capable number 1 of which there is no doubt he will have to be with next seasons rule changes...he had a bad season by his standards this year and still finished 8th in the World (a little by luck admittedly, but 9th would hardly have been dreadful would it?).

Squeezed out to the fence, riding immediately across a riders line (one of Nicki's favourites on lap 4 heading to the finish line), being forced wide into the heavy dirt, riding under overly hard going into a bend...all can be done with no contact. Want me to go on? As for your first sentence, I have made no such admission.

You don't need to be 'hit' to be taken out...there are plenty of ways a rider can be taken out without any contact and Nicki is the master of this art.

Or is it the sign of a rider pushed to the limit after years of being taken out by the 'Dirty' Dane..?

I can't remember a speedway rider on a chat show, tv game show, or any other celebrity style show in this country with the exception of a program about Tai, and a radio broadcast mid morning just before the Cardiff GP. Jason Crump was on "A Question of Sport" a few years ago

In your opinion. There are many more far reaching and real reasons than Dak's absence (which has been explained more times than an Only Fool & Horses repeat!!) why folks walk away from the sport. This issue has nothing to do with it. So yes, time to move on and discuss current issues. The past is the past. You can't change it so whingeing about is pointless.
