  1. I agree with Einstein, and it seems we are going to go back to 2017 and hope it works this time, but survival of the fittest will result in only one team being left wont it?
  2. Kings Lynn were top of the qualifying league for the play offs, Poole were top of the league after the play offs
  3. Doesn't work to reduce costs as riders live all over the country Doyle lives in Norfolk, Doolan in Sheffield
  4. So the record books will record that KL were the league winners this year, seems we all know the answer to that except Allitt
  5. Fixed race nights haven't worked, clubs have lost more money because they ran on traditional non speedway nights. the only way fixed race nights will work is if we attract new fans who have not known any other race night, think we all know that wont happen
  6. There will be no change next year the ones that want a "premier league" will get their wish and the championship will stay the same along with the national league. there are likely to be less teams in the top two leagues and doubling up will be back causing more guests and RR as the saviour of fixed race nights has failed So basically we will be back to 2017 with a reduced number of teams and a reduced number of supporters with even less teams in 2020. the only good news for me this year was that the lack of fixtures saved me about £500 compared to last year
  7. Much easier to get the winner the BBC wants that way
  8. True, wasn't thinking there. But they will all have bumper crowds, and because of guests it will be a different team every time they ride against each other
  9. Each team rides against each other twice at home, good luck to them, and can they afford to last the season?
  10. but it doesn't work, the clubs with the money get the riders who are likely to up their averages, the ones with les money get the ones on the way down. unless you are talking about rider control, therefore allocating riders to teams
  11. You pay what you want to pay, if everyone as a group got together to say No, it would be No, but the "bigger" clubs will have to get the best, so they wont agree, well if they want speedway in this country to continue, they will have to act in the best interest of the group, not the individual, so goodbye to speedway
  12. If there are two leagues, one will be bigger. the question needs to be at what level can we afford the big league to be For quite a few seasons now clubs have paid out more money for riders they cant afford supposedly to get more fans in. it hasn't worked, we need the pitch the "big" league at a level that can be afforded and then hope to rebuild, but it looks like that wont happen obviously some clubs like to lose money year on year
  13. so nothings going to change, lets go back to how it didn't work perhaps the so called big teams will realise there is a problem when they keep losing teams mid season like this year, but even then I doubt it so another nail in the speedway coffin
  14. This is Speedway rules can be changed to suit
  15. Don't see how a North South split would save money, very few riders live near the track they ride for Might work if more fans go to away matches because they are close by, buts that all
  16. Josh G - A real number 1 Kennedy Anderson Kurtz for starters, after that it depends on the points limit and the make up of the league I suppose
  17. haven't seen that sensible rule used for years, don't know why
  18. Viewing from the panorama room should be OK, if you don't mind being inside, otherwise Third and Fourth bends should be OK
  19. Think his bikes would have to go that way anyway, so not much extra for an extra person
  20. So which rules have been broken, the one that says you cant drive to continental meetings you must have the money to fly? where is that in the rule book
  21. So you are only able to ride in important meetings if you have a team behind you? and we wonder why there is a limited amount young talent coming though
  22. I think you need to stop the obsession and focus on the match now it looks like Sheffields top 2 cost us again
