I know you will probably take this the wrong way as you don't really like my opinion if it differs to yours but,you say we were fortunate with our injuries/replacements and facing teams with terrible injuries which made our results look good.Really only Belle Vue spring to mind and Wolves with Schlein missing,but then the other teams had to face these in the league with the same riders missing.It normally balances itself out in that respect.So as you say we were fortunate because of that.Doesn't that then make us unfortunate to lose the final because of the same that happened to us,but you say we blew it.

Quite agree. That's what I'm trying to say is that the use of social media by the clubs don't impact on the crowds. Lucky I started taking my daughter to speedway from a young age, and she still loves it now. She's 20 now so can now take me.

It didn't effect their dwindling support unfortunately though.It's not the social media,twitter etc that affect the support imo as Lakeside would still be here now.There is just so much else to do nowadays.There was no social media etc back in the 60s,70s,80s the attendances were better imo as there just wasn't anything else to do. Remember dad saying you can stay at nan and grandad's tonight or go to the speedway,speedway won every time.Now it would be do you want to go to the speedway or spend the next few hours on playstation,xbox watch whatever you want on tv.And thats just staying in doors.

So hopefully this will put to bed how people think Chapman is running the show. He has purely bought the two clubs to keep the league running. He doesn't say who is riding for who or he would have made Tungate available for Ipswich surely.

Just had a quick look to see how the fixtures work out with my shifts,wish i hadn't now.I get to see one home fixture from the beginning of the season until June 3rd when we meet Wolves.At least that one match is when we meet the Witches.And i can get to see the 2 away meetings at Peterborough.But 3 matches in 2 months isn't very good for me.

There would be plenty of clubs who are unfortunately no more wished that possibly Buster was in a position to buy them so they were still running.Just to think 20 odd years ago that could have been Lynn going the same way.

Pretty sure Lynn could be without 4 if not 5 on that day. We will see in the coming weeks

CL gets preference i assume,and as much as 9 riders would be missing from the Ipswich/Kings Lynn teams on the Friday,so good call.

Mondays and Thursdays are the chosen race nights for the PL.

There are 8 teams in action though in the Championship and as it isn't one of the PL's chosen race nights i assume the CL gets preference.I don't know.With what looks like 5 of our riders will be riding in the CL that day and 4 for Ipswich it seems like a good call to me.

Problem is we remember those big matches back in the day when we all all looked forward to those matches on the bank holiday.I guess they feel they won't get crowds like that on a bank holiday anymore.But it would be worth a go in my mind. How do folks feel with Lynn riding most of their matches on a Monday?Only 3 on a Thursday the rest on the Monday.It doesn't bother me at all as i work shifts and i would miss the same number of matches whatever day it was on,apart from Saturday or Sunday of course.People probably won't like it merely because it's on a Monday,the way i'm going to look at it is that it makes my weekend longer

I was merely pointing out more money is being spent on watching live sport because people still go to events and have satellite TV. And the ones that don't go to watch football etc live may still have pay TV at home. People will always fill the stadiums for the Ashes, football, formula 1 etc. They always have. But back in the day the only money being spent to watch live sport was by actually going. But now they have the addition of money being spent on live sport by subscribing to Sky, Virgin, BT etc.

Has anybody say you can't voice adverse opinions. The answer is no. Just because people don't agree with each others opinions that is up to the person themselves. I have not seen anyone say you can't voice your opinion. You seem to get a little upset when someone don't agree with you, then you come up with a comment like that.

Isn't that because you have to pay to watch it on tv now.That could be the reason more money is being spent on watching live sport.

I agree,the team has already been sorted a while ago.But when a rider like Harris becomes available who's knows a change could be made,although inevitably you may have to drop 2 riders to accommodate such a move.Personally i think Harris is on a too high average,would have taken him at the drop of a hat before he had his Rye House results removed which then inflated his average.

Your beef is with Buster why do you want the clubs to fail?Whether you like the man in charge or not surely you don't want to see your club fail. When the Glaziers took over Man Utd i didn't want to see them in charge and didn't agree with the direction they were going,but not once did i want to see Man Utd fail.

Totally agree with you.Daniel doesn't seem much of a speedway fan at present.He seems to stick the knife in towards Buster at every opportunity he gets.Does he know all the truth what is going on,no is the answer.But this won't stop his vendetta against Buster.Buster is no Saint but to blame him at every opportunity is a joke really.If he don't like Buster then so be it,but to hope 3 clubs fail is quite unbelievable.
