  1. Agree totally.Personally i think Proctor will be the one to struggle to improve on his average.Think the rest can all improve a bit.Lambert may struggle as he achieved such a good average last season but you always need at least one big hitter. As i said in an earlier post though,we did only have one big hitter all last season. So we will need one of the others to step up for the big heats next season.Hopefully Riss will be that man.
  2. I heard similar lynnboy.I would prefer a couple of big hitters myself. The way i will take heart from this if it is to be the case,is we only have to look back at the 2018 season. We only started with one big hitter then in Iversen, and only ended up with one in Lambert. We just need someone else to stand up and be counted for the vital big heats.
  3. Pretty sure there will be 1 or 2 different riders. Out of the team i watched all last season i would have thought Ty was the one less likely to improve on his average.
  4. Buster won't be building a team at Ipswich or Peterborough.
  5. I think the King's Lynn team has been sorted, just going by a quote i have seen by Brundle somewhere can't remember where now,old age and all that
  6. I would make 3 alterations to that team, although the ones i put in are highly unlikely to happen.Plus i would like to see Riss back anyway.
  7. Agree, let him have a season elsewhere to see how he goes in readiness for 2020 maybe.Jake Allen would be my ideal rider to have in the team at reserve,on a bargain 4.56 average. What i see of him, especially at the end of the season i think he could put 1.5 points on his starting average.
  8. I was thinking the same re Kerr's fitness, but i see he has a team place at Eastbourne in the Championship. So Eastbourne and himself of course must be confident he will be fully fit for the new season.
  9. As i said realistically won't happen with riders destined to go elsewhere. I will go for Woffy instead of Iversen then on his old EL average
  10. Thought i would have a go at putting a team together as that seems to be going on at the moment. The team i have put together realistically won't happen as some riders seem destined to go elsewhere but you never know. Lambert 8.91 -2.5% inc Iversen 7.38 Morris 6.60 Or Gomolski 5.51 Riss 6.08 Toft 5.36 Allen 4.56 Nielsen 3.58 -2.5% inc and Covatti 4.70 42.47 42.50
  11. Pretty much use to be like that, although i think the second one use to start at 3.30pm.
  12. My comment was a bit tongue in cheek,as i said can't see it being anything other than the Friday if they do ride on the Easter weekend.
  13. Just seen i am on nights on Good Friday,so i am with you Monday will be fine.Although if they are going to use the Easter weekend for the old rivalry to commence you can't see it being any other than the traditional Good Friday.
  14. Won't make any difference to Wolves if they want Schlein and he wants to ride for them he will
  15. Would like to have seen 5% at the very least. This way you would like to think the promoters would seriously look at the British riders first.
  16. I would take him on that, out of the Gp's but would still have plenty to offer.Would scare the living daylights out of some of the riders here.Didn't he say he wanted a new challenge and didn't he finish top or very near top of the Polish averages. If that was the case he definitely isn't done yet.
  17. That could be unfair to he team finishing top. They should have the advantage going into the final. So if they were to think down these lines i would say take the difference in the overall league points as opposed to the meetings between the two teams.
  18. What average would Nicki P come in on?Wants a new challenge doesn't he
  19. Thats 2018,Somerset and Leicester are going down with Peterborough and Ipswich moving up. Sorry to see Somerset and Leicester going down, but survival is whats needed by all clubs at present.
  20. We will see soon i suppose Edit: There you go no problems with Thursdays now. Looking forward to our local rivalries commencing again against Peterborough and especially Ipswich,it's been to long
  21. With that team we would have to race on a Thursday, and who's to say we wouldn't. There is nothing to stop them.
  22. Think you could be right Steve. I have heard that Dale will be at Peterborough and the former Kings Lynn favourite at Lynn.
  23. Now i really do believe you are from another planet.
  24. I think when Huggy done the track we had big home wins in the old PL.Not always great racing though because many teams were beat before they took to the track.Think the lesser riders so to speak weren't put off by a grippy track but more to do with the fence back then. That was a solid fence with no cushioning.
