  1. And you seem to write off every other team in the league,as you appear to say Poole will win it again
  2. What is the matter with you.Why the the impatience in waiting for the announcements, you know Lynn will be riding next season.I bet you was one of those that use to peel corners off the Christmas presents as they lay under the tree, because you couldn't wait until Christmas day to see what you had got .You should realise there's more to life than waiting by the laptop waiting for the first signing for the new season. Enjoy the family, football,Television, beer,Christmas altogether actually. The signings will be announced in due course. It doesn't matter whether we are first or last to announce does it?Enjoy your Christmas don't let this spoil it. Merry Christmas to all
  3. Did have a little giggle to myself when someone put that rumour on here. Some people don't half post some rubbish. Can't remember who started this particular one.
  4. Totally agree with your post. You will get use to certain members on here constantly moaning about the sport.Webby has often quoted me in certain posts that he didn't like because it didn't agree with his.I'm nearly 50 now and been going for over 40 years, maybe i am to young to have an opinion also
  5. Frederik Jakobsen rode for Poole. Nicolaj Busk Jakobsen rode for Rye
  6. Well with the riders i can see that are left. How about this team, won't happen but it's nice to try a team i would put together with whats left. Lambert 8.90 Iversen 7.38 Thorrsell 7.25 Riss 6.08 Auty 4.60 Allen 4.56 Nielsen 3.58 42.35 Very good top 3,with a very good 2nd string in Riss. And i believe Allen will become a good 2nd string also leaving Auty and Nielsen at reserve for most of the season. That would be the best team i could come up with, with whats left. Not going to happen but it gives me something to do on a cold winters night.Lynn too loyal so i could see a few more from the 2018 team in.
  7. True. But when signed NKI was over 1.5 points more than Lambert and was an established quality rider. So one would expect Lambert to be backing up NKI through the 2018 season, not to go by him by over 1.5 points.
  8. Don't think NKI backed him up enough. We are talking a top class rider going from a 9.04 average to a 7.38 through the course of a season whether he done it in hts 13 and 15 or not.The other 3 rides he had counted too but he seemed to be woeful in those. If he turned up for his first 3 rides we could have used S.Lambert in hts 13 and 15 no problems Hopefully he signs,as he owes us big time imo.
  9. Did Lambert have the back up last season?Surely last year it should have been Lambert backing up NKI.
  10. They have,in recent times always named their team around Christmas time or early in the new year.No inconsideration at all.You say people don't give a damn about speedway at this time of year, yet there is still plenty of postings going on here.
  11. I am pretty sure there is at least one different rider in that line-up.
  12. Now there's a surprise J.Holder is the new number 1
  13. Where an earth do you get your info from?
  14. Agree totally.Personally i think Proctor will be the one to struggle to improve on his average.Think the rest can all improve a bit.Lambert may struggle as he achieved such a good average last season but you always need at least one big hitter. As i said in an earlier post though,we did only have one big hitter all last season. So we will need one of the others to step up for the big heats next season.Hopefully Riss will be that man.
  15. I heard similar lynnboy.I would prefer a couple of big hitters myself. The way i will take heart from this if it is to be the case,is we only have to look back at the 2018 season. We only started with one big hitter then in Iversen, and only ended up with one in Lambert. We just need someone else to stand up and be counted for the vital big heats.
  16. Pretty sure there will be 1 or 2 different riders. Out of the team i watched all last season i would have thought Ty was the one less likely to improve on his average.
  17. Buster won't be building a team at Ipswich or Peterborough.
  18. I think the King's Lynn team has been sorted, just going by a quote i have seen by Brundle somewhere can't remember where now,old age and all that
  19. I would make 3 alterations to that team, although the ones i put in are highly unlikely to happen.Plus i would like to see Riss back anyway.
  20. Agree, let him have a season elsewhere to see how he goes in readiness for 2020 maybe.Jake Allen would be my ideal rider to have in the team at reserve,on a bargain 4.56 average. What i see of him, especially at the end of the season i think he could put 1.5 points on his starting average.
  21. I was thinking the same re Kerr's fitness, but i see he has a team place at Eastbourne in the Championship. So Eastbourne and himself of course must be confident he will be fully fit for the new season.
  22. As i said realistically won't happen with riders destined to go elsewhere. I will go for Woffy instead of Iversen then on his old EL average
  23. Thought i would have a go at putting a team together as that seems to be going on at the moment. The team i have put together realistically won't happen as some riders seem destined to go elsewhere but you never know. Lambert 8.91 -2.5% inc Iversen 7.38 Morris 6.60 Or Gomolski 5.51 Riss 6.08 Toft 5.36 Allen 4.56 Nielsen 3.58 -2.5% inc and Covatti 4.70 42.47 42.50
  24. Pretty much use to be like that, although i think the second one use to start at 3.30pm.
  25. My comment was a bit tongue in cheek,as i said can't see it being anything other than the Friday if they do ride on the Easter weekend.
