  1. Maybe you should go back and re-read what Lambert wrote.Read it very slowly so it sinks in.I told SS to do the same but he is to childish to admit he read it wrong, along with a few other Poole fans.SS is to busy putting other childish comments on here in the mean time. I could understand people having a pop at NKI,but at Lambert I'm afraid people have got the wrong end of the stick as usual.
  2. Very accurate Indeed.People like SS should read the message slowly and the penny may drop.Lambert bringing the sport into disrepute who's the childish ones now who can't seem to read a post clearly.
  3. Typical from you,so when Poole were losing at home it was ok for their riders to criticize the track. But when the away team lose and they criticize the track you want the book thrown at them.I seem to think you are a being a bit childish too.So Poole riders can say what they want about the track but no other riders from other clubs are allowed to criticize it.It again is all about Poole in your blue tinted spectacles.
  4. Think we need a lot stronger pairing at reserve to get that close. But like SS i too would like to be proved wrong
  5. I don't disagree neither about all the extras you got back then. But most people put on here about the racing being crap, when it was pretty much the same back in the good old days.Only difference was it being better attended.
  6. Spot on with that post.Iv'e watched quite a few matches on YouTube from 70s and 80s,even though I attended quite a few back then at Saddlebow road. And the racing is pretty much the same. Some strung out after the first bend, some close ones but hardly any overtakes watched a video at home to Ipswich 1979,one overtake of note in HT one.So all in all think the racing is pretty similar,
  7. Klindt might miss the away fixture at Lynn you mean
  8. I've still got about 3 Deutschmark at home, would that be enough to entice him down
  9. I agree that all British riders should be available, but on the agreeance that all international matches are known prior to the start of the season. Not slapped in your face a few weeks before they want you to ride.I think this is fair don't you?
  10. Well whoever it is that are organising it are the ones the people should be pointing the finger at.But then again it is only SS again.Probably just wants to get this thread past 20 pages so he feels that Poole are the most popular.
  11. Of course he is proud to represent his country. But having to do things last minute is ridiculous. The people at fault here are the BSPA for organising a test match at such short notice. Could you imagine any other sports bodies organising a friendly etc 3-weeks before it actually takes place and expecting all there players to take part. Can you imagine Southgate telling Kane you have to cancel your Maldives holiday we have an important friendly against Azerbaijan in 3 weeks.
  12. That would be carnage wouldn't it?That's if i'm reading what your saying correctly.
  13. What's P poor having arranged a holiday as he didn't have any matches to ride in
  14. It 's amazing how some people get the wrong story and have to post it on here(Skidder 1).I heard a couple of weeks ago about the situation. He'd booked a holiday as you say it was a rare 5-6 days off for the lad. Then they arrange a test match pretty much at the last minute and expect Lambert to ride in it.
  15. You're not in the top 4, you're in the bottom 3 though
  16. NKI on a high, he's been on pretty much a low most of the season for Lynn.
  17. Maybe so re Doyle, but on the flip side what could we have done with Kerr in the side think you could safely say he would have doubled what both reserves got together.
  18. You've got to think, does Riss actually want to do PL this year
  19. Good luck to Lynn tonight, unfortunately have to be at work tonight so can't even watch it on the telly. But we have matches over the next two weeks so should be able to see them, weather permitting
  20. I've never heard you say it's been good racing when you have lost, only when you win funny that.
  21. Poole should win this quite comfortably.Lynn really only have R.Lambert performing consistantly. All the others are up and down like yo yo's.S.Lambert shouldn't trouble the scoring unless there is an off or E/F.Newman may get 4-5 but he hasn't had a great season neither.Iversen very poor by his standards and can be beaten by any Poole rider.MPT,Jorgensen and Proctor well we will just have to wait and see for them, sometimes they are good and sometimes they are not. Those three do seem to take it in turns to have a bad meeting. Obviously Lynn are seriously depleted with no Garrity and K.Andersen I'm going for 53-37 or 53-39.
  22. Blimey,Lambert managed just 1pt in his first meeting, and was fortunate enough to come up against the weakest reserves in the league in his second. So his average will be inflated i would say over 2 home meetings. Andersen imo looked so much better against Leicester when he unfortunately got injured. So i give you that he may be a worry coming back from injury. But again i would take S.Nielsen over both of them if and when fit.Skidder said about a month ago that he should be returning in 2 weeks time.So maybe he is close to fitness now.
  23. Do they not then make money from Prague and Hallstavik which only hold 7,500 and 10,000 respectively.
