Most of us want a change or two, names being bantered about and all that. But one thing people aren't thinking about is these riders we want, maybe the promotion wants but do the riders themselves want it.

Cardiff 2018 21st July
tellboy replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I didn't say do away with Cardiff they could have both.If they could fit 9,000 in that would top Prague by 1,500 spectators. There are also a few Gp circuits that only have 10-15,00 spectator capacity. -

I take it Andersen can just come back for Lambert when fit, that's assuming if the club want him back.Or maybe they feel Lambert is doing a better job.Personally i feel Andersen would be the better option.

I agree we have to make more changes if we want to win the league. We won't win it with the team we currently have. But quite how you can get Bjerre in i don't know.Like for like you can replace Lambert(Robert)or Iversen before his average changes on Aug 1st.Who would want that? Think your preferred way is to get rid of the two current reserves and bring in Bjerre and a 2 pointer, you can't do this either. You could get rid of Proctor and S.Lambert for Bjerre and a 2 pointer, but again who would want that. Our weakest point this year so far has been at number 1 and the poor form of Iversen.Luckily for Lynn Lambert has really stepped up another level this year and really papered over the cracks of Iversen's poor form.

He probably would have done better had he not had the worst 2 gates in his first 3 races.Gate 3 twice and 4 once in his first three rides. The stats from those two gates are not favourable at all compared to 1 and 2. 1 win from gate 3 after 16 races and that was Iversen when up against Bellego,Dilger and Grobauer. He should be beating them anyway even from 15m back.

The way Iversen has been going he won't go unbeaten, been poor at home this season especially by his standards. Hope you are right and Iversen scores heavy, unfortunately for Lynn he hasn't even hit double figures at home this season yet. -

Let's be honest they really only have a choice between Fricke and Cook.Or they could have R/R but the way their team is made up i think going with a guest is their best option. This is a bit of a problem with FRN,it limits the choice of guests especially for the top averaged riders. -
2019 One big league will it happen.?
tellboy replied to Sidney the robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I would prefer one big league.More variety more matches.People like continuity and therefore matches most weeks. At Lynn we have had gaps of 5 weeks, supporters don't want that. Some Elite league snobs knock the championship but you get as good racing in that as the top league.Actually it's probably better. So what we may lose a few riders, and it would only be a few but I think it would bring a few more fans back imo -
Awesome was the word i was thinking, you would pay your money to watch that every day of the week.We would be lost without him though.Wish Iversen could get back on it again though.I keep thinking with every match he will be coming back to form. But for some reason or another he just can't seem to get there.

Grand Prix Calendar and Venues 2019

Discussed this with friends in Cardiff and at Lynn last night.Would love to see it in Manchester and i would definitely go up there to see it.Should drop one of the Polish rounds imo. -
Could possibly after NKI gets his new average, which i think is Wednesday. He drops about 1.89 off his average at present, which would allow that move i think. But that would be very harsh on Garrity.Don't know whether i would go that way or get rid of Lambert for a rider around the 4.5 mark and have two decent reserves. Having said that our management don't seem to have that ruthless streak in them to do such things. When's Stefan Nielsen fit?His average is less than S.Lambert's
