If we do get a match it will be tough against the league leaders.Lynn should be stronger at reserve and think we could just edge the match because of this. If it does fall to the weather then the fixture planner is going to have a big job on his/her hands.We have a free date on the 23rd May but Poole,Wolves and Swindon are riding on that day. Well early indications are this match will be off,as well as Wednesday's meeting at home.This has got to be the worst start to the season i can remember weather wise.

I thought covers like cricket covers that could possibly concertina together to save space.But looking at the prices this would definitely be a no no.

He rode in an individual,think it was a Polish championship and had 5 races and done reasonably well.That was about 2 weeks ago.

Must admit i don't know how much tv money clubs got or what it was spent on.I have only seen what has been speculated on here which is normally far from the truth

As regards the air fence,helpers will know when they will be needed in advance.With the track covers,who knows when they would be needed that is in the hands of the good old British weather.Don't get me wrong i'm all for track covers.If there was a way of putting them down with minimal labour i'm sure it could happen,but of course cost will always get in the way.

I think some kind of track covers need to be found that are easy to put out and to put away.With the sheets that have been used in the past you would need a few people to help with the job in hand.With the British weather you may need people that are willing to help at anytime,are these people available all the time,i suspect not.Most of the helpers at the stadium i think have other jobs.

Well imo Buster has got all 3 home matches spot on with calling them off.I don't like matches postponed as i work shifts and hate missing the speedway.All 3 home matches postponed at home this season have been when i'm not on shift toothose are the breaks i suppose.

Problem with these showers they are either hit or miss.You can see why Buster wants to keep it on as it's not a forecast where it's continual rain.Well not the forecasts i have been looking at.

I must admit i don't get all the hype regarding Ford/Middlo being the best promoter/manager there has been.Surely if they were that great they would have the best team assembled at the start of each season.How many times do they have to change their team because they have messed up in the first place

Got to agree with you there.Different leagues normally different outcomes.Individual riders form is sometimes different in other leagues.

It's what he does best,that's why the Poole threads gets so many pages.

My view as a supporter on this is most riders will race for the victory in ht 15 regardless of the score.When Lynn race i first look at when they have claimed the victory and then i want them to go on and deny the away team any points at all.Rye House found this out to their cost last season by not getting enough points away. I don't get what you mean by trying to explain the 46 points to win a match.I'm sure 99% of the time you do. And for what it's worth i prefer the old scoring system.

Thought riders were paid by points scored.So the incentive to win the race is extra £££s.So by keeping there averages down but still winning matches how could you work out this would help with team changes.You need 46 points to win a match,team building average is 42.5 Most riders try in heat 15 regardless,well apart from maybe Batchelor.

Hang on Trees don't put me in the same boat as some of those Poole fans.All i said is he needs to shape up quick,i didn't say get rid of him.

Lets hope it is just fitness and he soon becomes fully fit.Because the way our team is built we have to be looking at double figures from him most weeks.And in all fairness he should be in this league.
