  1. Especially after his performance tonight. Not sure of his average though, and how many leagues he rides in,if indeed he rides in the top Polish league.
  2. So both of those options can be like for like then. Personally if i was making changes i would try to get a rider to replace KK on near his average say 9 and the same with Klindt a 6 that is 15 pts worth, why waste 2.75 points straight away by re-declaring
  3. You could tell it was different just looking at it from the outside. It didn't look as dark to me.And when it came flying over the fence it seemed more tackier,a bit like the old PL days. The racing wasn't great but i still maintain it doesn't help when there was such a difference in class of riders.
  4. It's the only way really once your team average is over the points average.KK and Klindt then.
  5. More than one change would mean making your team fit within the 42pt limit. You are 1.31 over at the moment so can't see that happening.Once KK is back in your side you will be even further over the 42 pts making it even more unlikely.Like for like i reckon if your going to make a change.
  6. Agree with you there.Think Star Fever is going just purely on Sedgemen's score at Lynn.Sedgemen's average is lower than Jorgensen's average in both leagues.
  7. Milik didn't get an extra ride because he was pants, apart from ht 20.Didn't like the track early doors when it was grippy.
  8. So we strengthened when we got Lambert for Bailey, then Jorgensen for Porsing. Then bringing in Ayres to share with Lambert we were bang on the 50pt limit. How much stronger can you get if you are at the limit thats it.
  9. It never was going to good racing with the gulf in class of riders. It was better when a Czech or American made the gate though. If they could have made the gate all night the racing would have been great.
  10. Well i've just seen the real Chris Holder tonight.I expect him to turn up for all the remaining Lynn matches now.
  11. Matt is ruthless enough as we have seen in the past. As for Milik,if he was to drop a league would Ford's pockets be deep enough to afford him.
  12. I'm assuming Barkers average has been reduced as he will be riding in a slightly tougher league.Jorgensen at Lynn was signed on a 7.3 then immediately dropped to 6.08 once the 42pt average kicked in.He is still 7.3 at Workington. So i would say Barker has gained an average slightly lower than Jorgensen's so would fit into the 42pt limit with Rye House. Just a side thought, although Rye House have done nothing wrong, these moves just highlight what is wrong with British speedway. Two British riders are out of a Job and an Aussie now has 2 again.I guess this sort of issue doesn't just happen in speedway though at the moment.
  13. Little better for GB to qualify straight through.Still Aussies are favourites i think.
  14. I think even if it's the best race track in the world tonight the racing won't be great. The problem i see is there is such a difference in class of riders on show. You might get the odd race where it's someone like Wells,Milik,Harris and Morris in it you may get a decent race. But for every one of those races you may get about 5-6 races where you get Stichauer,Doyle,Worrall and Becker.
  15. A fracture is just a clinical term for a break. Some doctors will say a break where others will say a fracture. When your bone pops through the skin this is normally termed as a compound fracture.
  16. Hope there isn't any problems, this is the first year i haven't bought tickets in advance.Ticket office opens tomorrow at 2pm apparently. If that's the case we need USA to gate first,Czechs second,GB third and Aus last then the racing should be excellent. If the order was in reverse then don't expect to see much.
  17. Don't really have any home advantage, only maybe the crowd but then some of them seem to cheer on their clubs riders. The Aussies will start as favourites especially with two King's Lynn riders riding in the team.Plus Doyle who is on top of his game even with his injury as proved last week in the GP.Morris has also rode Lynn very well this season. I'll be there supporting GB,not Batchelor or Holder who ride for my club
  18. Sorry but you did say it can't be broken, then in the next sentence you said it might be a hairline fracture. When a fracture is a break. So either it is broken or it isn't,what do you reckon Anyway onwards and upwards he rides tomorrow and hopefully he does GB proud along with the rest of them.
  19. Why didn't you say that before the meeting?Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I think most Wolves fans would have been happy with King replacing Howarth before the meeting, but not after obviously.
  20. Whilst things seem a bit fishy, for all we know Dany may have a virus. But as it happens with Kurtz coming in isn't this what most speedway fans want. Two competetive teams going at it.Let's be honest had the latest change not happened it would have been such a one sided affair which would have impacted on the crowd. And speedway can ill afford that at the moment.
  21. I think there should be a multiplier for riders coming back to the league. Not at 1.4 though, maybe a little lower. My reason for this would be simply because it is a weaker league this season. So those coming back achieved their averages in a slightly tougher league so should find points easier to come by.
