  1. Personally i can't see where i am being treated differently now as to what i was 30 years ago.
  2. Wherever you go sport wise you are treated just as a number.
  3. Blimey,is he on his way back into the sport
  4. I like Roynon, but not sure whether he would be an improvement.Unfortunately all of his injuries are catching up with him.He is also contemplating retiring.
  5. It does make me wonder how we all coped 20-30 years ago.I know you are going to say you have to move with the times. But years ago i would just turn up to see a meeting relying on the odd bit in the Lynn news and advertiser. Is that paper still going by the way. We must have had casual fans years ago too who didn't have information to go on.Most casual fans will go as and when it pleases them anyway.
  6. I did just try to edit my post after i had wrote it as i see that he is meant to be out for 4-5 weeks. But some riders do seem to come back after a couple of weeks now, maybe KK is a slow healer. Now will the BSPA re-asess his average down when the team reaches 8 matches or leave it alone.
  7. Blimey that's a long time for a broken collarbone nowadays isn't it.I thought they healed in about 3 weeks now.
  8. In the short term it's bad luck for KK but good luck for Poole.Stuck on his average Poole will pretty much have a choice of guests to use or can use R/R with everyone being able to take a ride.He will probably only miss the one meeting anyway, collarbone injuries normally heal pretty quickly nowadays with riders normally taking laser treatment
  9. I haven't a clue.Maybe the BSPA don't either.
  10. As far as i am aware the averages will come into play a week after they have completed the 4h 4a
  11. That would fit comfortably, with nearly 2pts spare.Personally i would prefer Kerr to Nielsen and this would still give you plenty to spare.
  12. Those are the words i have been looking for.I'm not very good at getting things across how i want to.
  13. Well done Lambert, gets over a third of the points for Lynn.Team average must be low enough soon to bring Kerr in for Bailey.A change is definately needed. Two wins against the bottom side is all we have to our name, but has that exceeded the expectations. Totally agree with you there. So the most he thought we could have got at Somerset is a draw as the 3pts exceeded his expectations. We should be expecting to win at the bottom side and he should be instilling this into the riders.
  14. Such bad sportsmanship to say that sort of thing with 11 races to go.
  15. If your going on your bike, you may get a ride for Lynn tonight
  16. Well having only seen the racing from heat 13 i am only glad i missed the first 12 if they were the same as the last 11 races. That was one borefest with the racing done after bend 2.The only way is up now at least.
  17. Does the 28 days start from when he agreed to ride,or from his first actual meeting for Poole. His 28 days have finished now from when he agreed to ride, but hey haven't from the date of his first meeting. See Newman is riding for Ipswich tonight.
  18. Take a look at the smallprint in BWitcher's post,it may help
  19. It is a joke, why arrange a fixture when your main reserve is missing and you are not able to have a facility for him. Also the management obviously knew a while ago about Kai not being there so why not announce it when known.Same with Cook at Somerset last night,Dale said he asked him straight after the Lynn meeting 9 days ago so why not announce it then. Why is everything all hush hush in speedway.Give the supporters a bit of time to make up their minds whether they want to attend the meetings or not bother.
  20. In your opinion though would you have thought Huckenbeck would have came last in that race?
  21. Should have replaced him with Shanes then and then put Huckenbeck in ht14 in place of Shanes imo. I wasn't impressed with Dale at Rye when he seemed pretty happy with his friends immediately after our loss.He should have been upset with what he had seen and most certainly been having words with a rider or two.
  22. Good result for the Stars, but imo it was against probably the weakest team in the league at the moment. I also think Huckenbeck could have been used more.I wasn't there but i feel when your reserve is pulling in some big points you have to utilise him more.Ok you don't use him more if the whole team had scored points but on this occassion Porsing hadn't.Somerset didn't think twice by replacing their number one with a reserve tonight. Not sure whether Dale would have it in him to do this, time will tell i suppose.
  23. Why do people keep using the excuse of so and so don't know the track. This will be the case for most teams that visit Rye and Somerset this season.Anyway KK and Hans are meant to be top riders so i'm sure they themselves wouldn't use that excuse.
  24. Hate to say this because i don't like sticking up for Poole, but is there a rule to state you have have 2 GB qualified riders in your team? There is a rule however stating that you must include at least 2 riders who have competed in or are eligible to enter the National Development League(conference).I guess BWD has rode in or is eligible for that(unsure)
