365 leaving the markets late again Think both matches will be very close tonight, both could easily finish 46-44, although I feel both home sides will just sneak it, the lack of any reasonable scoring from Wolves reserve pairing will be their downfall, even though Kemp has good knowledge of the Foxhall circuit. Becker over Barker, seems a shoe in to me, Becker always reasonable at Foxhall and should be ok for 8 points, even with Barker having an extra ride i done see him getting over 5 King over Douglas, more a guess that King has to come good at Foxhall sooner or later, in reasonable form for Poole, and should get 5 rides, has Ipswich have little option in my opinion for that heat, also Douglas never been the best at Ipswich, also Douglas under 9. At Owlerton, Kurtz over 8 and Musielak over 9
-
Is this a 4, 3, 2, 0 points scoring event? Just checking to ensure if Bet 365 are counting only the first 15 heats in rider and team scores and not the semi and final?
-
Markets up little late on 365 today hence no time for full reasoning as need to get off to Owlerton Masters over 7...purely cos I think he may end up having 6 rides Musielak over 10, been impressive round Owlerton so far and should want to put Mondays bad night behind him Mountain -1 Over Kemp Kings Lynn to be winning the meeting at heat 8 Kurtz over 9 Lawson over 7 Thomas to outscore Blodorn MPT to outscore Kerr
-
Because with a 5 point start he can afford to miss a gate or two or even have an ef, With a minus 5 start you have to have a perfect evening
-
Ipswich v Sheffield Think Sheffield will win this by 8 points, double figure scores from both Ellis and Musielak, 7 points each from Bomber, Cookie and Connor, then both Kyle and Stefan chipping in with 3-5 points each should see a 49-41 victory for the away side, hence backing Sheffield to win the Meeting at 4/5 and also the -2 Handicap at 21/20 As what I've just said also backing Harris over 6 and Mountain to cover the -1 handicap over Hume, apart from Heat 2 I dont see where the Ippo reserves score another point. Also backing King over 9 and Batchelor under 7, despite Troy having a decent score at home to Belle Vue, I dont see him out gating the likes of Ellis and Musielak as he did the aces boys, and I certainly dont see him over taking anyone Belle Vue v Kings Lynn Again I see this being another 8 point victory, to the home side this time and think the 14 point handicap on Kings Lynn is rather generous. With Worrall at reserve and providing that Pickering and Lawson are fully fit, NKI to be in reasonable form I fail to see how Kings Lynn cant get 39 points...given that every home side moans how the rain has affected their "normal" track also leads me to be backing Kings Lynn Also as per whats above, Both Lawson and Pickering backed to score over 6 each Also a small wager on Pickering at +5 Over Kurtz, yes Brady may well get 15, but an EF or a missed gate in 13 or 15 and he will be struggling, given that I reckon Josh will be getting 8 points, then Brady needs to be hitting 13 minimum, which he may not
-
Wolves v Ipswich Got to be taking Wolves at -2, the loss of Douglas does affect them slightly but if Jorgensen shows glimpses of his form there last week cant see Wolves failing to hit 50 points, also Wolves to be leading the meeting at Heat 8 seems a fair offer at 5/6 Doyle should be having his full complement of 6 rides in this meeting and cant see how he doesnt get into double figures, even if he only has 5, he should have the beating of the majority of the Wolves side even away from home, so definite bet to score over 9. Still cant be having Batchelor at any score to be putting last years woes behind him just yet, the fact he is now at 5 means he should be beating his own reserve every time, but just dont see him getting enough race wins against any of the Wolves top 5 for him to be getting over 7. Peterboro v Belle Vue Should be a close meeting and therefore a rather more entertaining spectacle for the cameras than last weeks borefest. Think Belle Vue's top 2 could just edge this in a close meeting, probably a last heat decider in my opinion. So Belle Vue just to win the meeting at 19/20 seems a fair bet. Both Kurtz and Fricke to score over 9, cant see either of them failing to get a few heat wins each. Also after 2 below par performances from Fricke away from home he owes the Aces a decent return now. Ostergaard at -3 over Etheridge, cant see Jye troubling the scorers and Ulrich should be good for 6-7 points

2 Premiership meetings tonight so a few bets too look at, although in the riders score I think that Bet 365 appear to be on the money really, so not a lot of value in that market Will be backing Belle Vue at +2 and also to win the meeting, think they will run out 46-44/47-43 winners of the meeting overall, certainly think Batchelor moving to 5 makes Ipswich weaker overall. Fricke over 10, as the meeting will be close throughout Im almost certain he will have all 5 rides. Also backing Brennan at +1 over Starke, thinking that Brennan could pick up a couple of extra rides replacing Blodorn and Etheridge Will be backing Sheffield at -12, expecting them to hit 53, 54 points this evening, also backing them at -6 at heat 8 as expect them to start well and be 10 points up at the mid stage of the meeting. Only rider bet in this meeting is Ellis over 10, he may not get 5 rides but dont expect him to be beaten by an opponent in his 4 programmed rides either
-
So profit from this morning likely to be wasted on this evenings meeting but expecting it to be very close, the Wolves reserves look very weak and as a result Kings Lynn will be keeping it real close, as a result a small play on the meeting finishing a draw and also being a draw after 8 heats. Although for it to be close, Lawson is going to have to score over 7 so thats a bet along with Douglas over 8 Also going to take a punt on Thomas +1 over Kemp and Iversen +2 over Masters Has Josh Pickering ever visited Monmore before? He wasnt in the Sheffield side for either of their 2 visits last season, could be a play at under 7
-
Got these on just in time Belle Vue -4 at heat 8, expecting a strong start before Peterboro claw back a bit of pride with Basso taking a few extra heats Wright over Ostergard off scratch and Fricke -2 over Harris, a risk that Harris could have 6 rides, but still think Fricker will be a reasonably untroubled by the panthers Kurtz over 8, think he will be too strong for any of the Panthers to be honest Basso +1 over Brennan, Basso could well have 7 rides and even though he has never been to Belle Due he should still outscore Brennan MPT to continue his Craven Memorial form and score over 8
-
Backing both Pickering and Lawson over 9, along with Doyle over 12, hopefully a couple of heat wins in his 6 rides tonight Also Batchelor under 8 and Jorgensen +2 over Troy...Dont think either will score highly but Jorgensen will hopefully get enough to cover the handicap. Also backing Lawson -2 over King....the last places in heat 13 and 15 for King should see Lawson will this bet
-
Just a heads up to any Panthers fan making arrangements to visit Sheffield on the 5th May by swapping work shifts planning lifts etc. Now the league one play off dates have been announced, if Sheff We’d finish 6th in league one they would be at home on the 5th May which would undoubtedly lead to the postponement of the Panthers fixture

Always hard to predict a match where RR is in use as you're having to guess just which heat each rider will be used, but here my take. Whilst the Stars will run out comfortable winners in the end I think the first half of the meeting could be close, so taking a punt on Peterboro +4 after heat 8 at 11/10 The only known use of RR will be that of Scotty in heat 13 and I doubt he will trouble the scorers too much in that heat when up against NKI and Lawson, hence backing Scott to get less than 8 at 6/4. Fancy Lawson to continue is good start to the season and get over 11 at 6/5, NKI should also be able to get over 9 and also backing that at 11/10. Also a slight fancy for Lawson to outscore Bomber with a 2 pt start, even though Bomber could be having 6 rides at 8/11....admittedly he could end up with 7 if the Panthers are poor, but if they are that poor then Bomber is also not scoring high in the first place, in my opinion. Also a play on Palin to outscore Thomas with a point start at 6/5, If the meeting is close always a chance Worrall will replace Thomas at some stage in the meeting
-
For the Wolves Belle Vue meeting its all about Becker v Wright for me and i think Becker will come out on top in that battle hence taking Becker over 8, Wright under 7 and also Becker -1 over Wright
-
After a disastrous morning, will try my luck with these. Kings Lynn definitely +6 and a small play on Kings Lynn actually winning the meeting, 5/2 just for the win is way too generous in my opinion. Iversen over 8 and also Iversen +3 over Bomber. Bomber will probably be getting 10/11 points but as I cant see how Iversen doesnt also get double figures this has to be a bet. Lawson over 7, again with the potential for at least 5 rides fail to see how he doesnt hit double figures. Also Nicholls under 8. Apart from Heat 8 I fail to see where he is winning a race
-
Was surprised to see Belle Vue listed up as -2....I know Allen and Etheridge are not scoring many but still expect Belle Vue to overcome Wolves. Fricke, Kurtz, Wright, Brennan will all score heavily and I think Belle Vue will win by 8 points Also backing Wright to score over 8 and Kurtz to score over 10 As Masters is riding with Worrall, he may be out to show Belle Vue what they missing im backing Masters to score less than 9 and also Fricke at -2 over Masters
-
Unbelievably tragic news. RIP Scoop

Sheffield should beat the Aces by 10 points this evening, so the -8 on the handicap looks a good bet to me, also I think that Sheffield will start the meeting much stronger and only when the meeting is effectively won and Belle Vue use their tactical ride will they bring the score back so Sheffield at -4 after 8 heats is also a bet. Impressed with what I saw in the Todd Kurtz Testimonial from Musielak and expect him to score over 10 and be Sheffield's top scorer this evening. Expect Max to have to the full 6 allotted rides this evening and therefore should easily score over 10 also. The Owlerton circuit could well be to Bloedorns liking but still expect Nielsen to outscore him comfortably and will take the -1 handicap on offer As for Ipswich I expect them to run out 4 point winners tonight 47-43, therefore am backing Peterboro at +6. Palm Toft appears to have started the season in reasonable form and fully expect to get over 5 from his rides. Havent seen Hans hitting anything decent so far and machinery issues plaguing his start to the season , therefore expect Riss to outscore him even with a -2 handicap.

Yes, they have actually said all speedway GP's will be live on Eurosport 2. Discovery + are covering the GP's advert free.

The Wolves Sheffield meeting will again be a close affair and most likely a last heat decider as per last Monday, will be taking the +2 on Sheffield and a small bet on the meting finishing in a draw. Fully expect Jack to score over 9 and also will back him to outscore Sam Masters especially with a point start, the main reason I feel is that Luke Becker will take points off Masters and as a result of that will also back Becker to outscore Cookie. Also fancy Adam Ellis to get over 8 given that he should also have 5 rides. I think the Peterborough Ipswich meeting will be closer than many think, although this will rely on Doyle and King scoring heavily, but have taken the +8 on Ipswich and have backed King to score over 8, the potential for him having 6 rides means he should be hitting double figures. Also backing King to outscore Harris, again purely based on the fact he should have more rides. Have backed Ostergaard at -3 to outscore Heeps, I know Ostergaard could be losing points to Andersen at times but dont ever see Heeps finishing in Front of Doyle or any of the Peterborough heat leaders. Am assuming we may still see the 2021 version of Batch and therefore am taking him to score less than 7, also backing Scott to score under 9, again due to the fact Palm Toft will take some points off him Sheffield +2, Holder >9, Holder +1 > Masters, Ellis >8, Becker > Cook, Wolves/Sheffield Draw Ipswich+8, King >8, Batchelor <7, Nicholls <9, Ostergaard -3 > Heeps, King > Harris
-
A close meting predicted tonight at the NSS, although Sheffield somewhat weakened by thee abidance of Cook and Musielak, although this has thrown up some reasonable angles especially for the points totals of Howarth and Ellis, backing both of them to score over 9 given that both will have at least 5 rides and one of them potentially 6 outings. Also backing Holder to get over 11 and Mountain -3 over Bloedern, who barring falls and EF I dont think will trouble the scorers As I say a close meeting predicted hence a little bet on the match draw at 14/1 and also a bet on Sheffield at +4
-
Kings Lynn Stars v Sheffield Tigers 19/08/21
Heathcote replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I would say all this chat about Holder's imminent arrival are a little off the mark. Whilst this weekend should most likely be Chris' last action for Torun this year, if they lose and other results go against them then Torun could still find themselves in the relegation play offs, unless rules over there have changed this year, and therefore would not be released from his duties in Poland for a few more weeks -
Also taking Ellis at 7/1, just in the hope Bewley somehow messes up the final heat Ellis over King and Harris over Wright Ellis over 10, Wright under 8, Nicholls under 7, Barker under 5 and Starke under 5
-
Sheffield -2 tonight at home to Wolves???? Fill your boots I say on that, Sheffield should be running out a 10 point victory tonight Holder -3 over Masters, Masters Under 9 look other very enticing bets to me
-
Gone with Belle Vue -2 on the handicap tonight, think they will cover it, I have them wining 48-42 Also backing Bewley to outscore Hans, so taking him with the -1 start, also backing Bomber to get over 10, will get his 6 rides and if things dont go well he could even get a 7th outing Having Lawson over 10, pretty much nailed on to get 6 rides as the rest of the stars will struggle to get 5 points each in my opinion, so also backing Jorgensen under 6. With Lawson getting 6 rides...in my opinion, also backing him in the handicap with a +2 start over Masters At Ipswich taking Cook at -1 over Holder Just backing Belle Vue, Ipswich and Wolves to win the meetings tonight does pay a healthy 2/1
-
Also kicking myself that the price tonight on Tai has suddenly come in, was 33/1 this morning, now at 20/1....do i think he will win, probably no but a 3 times world champ on his own track that is just to big to refuse, also makes a tidy profit if he gets in the first 3 anyway. Also backed Tai to score over 8 points Think Chuganov will have a better night tonight and have taken him to outscore Zagar and score over 5 Thomsen over 6 ad Fricke under 6 are 2 more bets I like along with Tai to win heat one off the inside. Was noticeable last year on the 2nd GP in Wroclaw the inside gates massively outweighed the outside, with 16 heats being won from Red and Blue, after an even split of gates on the first night. Last night the gates were pretty evenly split also
