You just have to look at the Poole v Somerset thread for your answer tbh. This morning calling for it to be off, then it was called off, now they are crying, forecast has changed so perhaps wrong to call off. By their very nature, it would appear speedway fans are weird. If a promoter calls off early, you will have conspiracy theories winging about, and if they try to get it on, but get defeated by the weather, they get it in the neck for putting money before fans. Can't win, springs to mind -

Dear God, we haven't even turned a wheel yet, and potential problems arising already!! Thought the fixed race nights, were supposed to nullify this sort of thing!! -

No idea why this quote line is here??? Anyway, don't really have a lot of time for Chris, but if true it's regarding his personal relationship, son etc., he has my heartfelt sympathy. As a father in a broken relationship he will get the thin edge every time, I truly hope for his sake it's only a couple of weeks, but don't bank on it. 10 years down the line my son is still having his daughter used against him Good luck Chris

I hope they can as planned, God forbid we go into good Friday without the lads having turned a wheel. Can't afford to lose any home matches

Lol Steve Brandon tweeted along the lines of, bibs are worn by netball teams, over club strip. Certainly on Facebook and Twitter the racesuits are favourite, and Poole are getting some stick for being unprofessional by managers etc.
-
Bearing in mind the dates he is quoting, he must be fed up of asking to be re-imbursed to make this public. So not good enough by these clubs.
-
So who was/were his British team/s in 15, 16 and/Or 17 then??
-
They've linked 2017 dates I think Steve, hopefully they will update it soon. Just to add, well they had on the Twitter announcment
-
Josh just tweeted this: More Hi everyone just an update after the operation. It went well and I’ve been able to sit up and stand up (briefly) today. All being well I will go home Monday / Tuesday. Hope to be racing late April. Thank you for all your messages

Think how many more he could achieve, if he too could earn from 2 leagues Just saying

Possibly when Scott waded in with lawyers and a QC or two they stepped in Pity now this has been overturned, people can't all do the same for the young guys starting out in the sport who can't get a place due to overseas riders, needing visas to ply their trade here, like Nathan greaves, Joe Jacobs and Ellis perks. They too might be multi British champs, good servants to the sport, if only they were given the chance. Edited to add, sorry should probably put the second bit of this post on the other thread
