. The boys on the pit gate are very experienced and have been doing that job for many many years now. As for the white line, yes it does get painted but it wears quickly, the only other solution we thought of is using chalk dust or getting the council to use proper white paint, but you cannot use chalk dust for obvious reasons untill the boys have completely finished preping the track. But that is the responsability of the boys that do the track. Its time, and like most track nowdays we don't have the Voluntary capacity. Yep i always said the same thing to, but we do need to be a bit more consistant right through the team.

Assuming they finish top, and that is by no means certain.

And Alun Rossiter who was very gracious in defeat. The banter in the pits between him and Neil and the Swindon promotional team was really good to see. Winding eachother up. Nothing wrong with Darcy the person, Darcy can be a real nice lad, but he's young he's been easily lead and very impressionable.But as we've all, sorry most of us have said, he's paid for his mistakes, he's learn't big time, and now he will go on to forfill his potential and he will do a good kjob for your lot untill the end of the season, and i would suspect tomorrow night as well.
