A good result for the Rebels last night, but not unexpected. I have know doubt that Edinburgh will win their remaining fixtures, but the Rebels need to keep winning and keep shoving the presure on Edinburgh. Really, ah the voice of Somerset finally speaks.. I really can't believe this. Yet another top meeting at the OTA this Friday and nobody has started a Thread. Friday see's the Rebels take on 3rd place Ipswitch Witches in another cracking top of the Table encounter. This is the second of four meetings in just over a week. The Rebels again do need all three points and put in a professional performance tomorrow night to keep the presure on Edinburgh, I still believe, if the Rebels can take this, and get 6 points off Peterbourgh then it will give Edinburgh something to worry about, they need to keep winning, who will crack first ?

Jeez i really can't believe the lack of interest from you Rebels fans. Rebels have 4 meetings in just over a week, and if you can get 12 points from those meetings then you will give Edinburgh something to worry about for top spot !!

If the powers that be don't do something absolutely really radical to the EL this Winter, that might not be as stupid as it sounds at every venue come next season...Can you imagine it, holding up a blackboard, that was a piss poor decision by the REF all four back surely, we need a 5-1 in this, or what was the time mate?? although you might need a bigger blackboard, and plenty of Chalk..

So i think i'l start this thread otherwise it will be left to the day before the meeting.. Wednesday see's the Cases Rebels host probably their biggest league meeting of the season so far. Edinburgh have been runaway leaders for sometime now, a bit like KL in the EL, but the gap is closing, fast. After 4 good recent results for the Rebels Garry Mays men will be looking to pull Edinburgh back even further this Wednesday. Edinburgh have a good record at the OTA, so the Rebels will have to be at there best to take the points. Although unfortunately, this clashes with our meeting V Lakeside, i would expect the Rebels fans to turn out for this in force. If all the Rebels riders ride to their potential, and all, do their jobs, i predict a 10- 12 point win for the home side.. but it won't be a walk in the park..
