Another crazy decision by a Referee. Nilsson should never had been excluded, effectively handing the meeting to the Aussies. just my opinion.

Cheers.

Genuine Question In Relation To King's Lynn Speedway
Starman2006 replied to SCORPIO's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
If they did that would be bang out of order, and would do nothing but drive more fans away from the track/s. Speedway fans are Speedway fans. and theres not many sports like ours nowadays. -

Just been reading the News re the two riders who fell heavily last night, especially Andre who had that horrific fall. Pleased to hear there is nothing broken or long lasting. -

Im not, so id keep your opinions to yourself, and you used to call Steve a blinkered troll.. Nothing wrong with the Premier league product. Like fast gater says, that sounds hopeful that nothing is to badly amiss with Andre, hope that is the case. -

A good win for the Rebels that was marred by Andres crash that looked rather nasty on TV. Hope Andre makes a speedy recovery. -

Also on Davey Watts and Chris Holders Twitter. That clown should be banned indefinately, and his boatrace circulated round every track. As i said and i will repeat. Rosco got lucky with a weakened and under par Aussie side. If, Team GB finish runners up on Saturday then i will take my hat off to Rosco and shake his hand next wednesday and say well done. But, i will give Simon Stead his due, he rode very well, and probably caught 99.9% of people out, if, they was truthful, which is something you don't get on this forum... -

Nothing different to any other track would have done. Bladed it graded it watered and spiked it.. I certainly didn't see anything wrong with that track. Lewis wants to wake up, this was a World cup meeting, not an EL meeting, unless he was meching for a rider he would have been fine, had he followed the regulations. Id take that silly wig off if i was you, it does you no favours and clearly the heat is getting to you... -

As somebody else said, Rosco got lucky, Darcy was way off colour and it was a weak Aussie side. look at the riders Neil had, and for that matter Rob Lyon had against them in the period they were managers, and look how much Tai has improved since? If we finish best runners up,as we did in 04 then, i will give Rosco credit, and say well done to him in 2 weeks time at poole. Its a very cheap shot from mainly Swindon fans having a poke at Neil, funny that...Lets see how brave you are when you come to Wimborne rd a week wednesday!! And by the way Gavan, Darcy is NOT a brat, you fancy a camera poked in your face after a decision like that? Even Wells saw the "RED" light and stopped. On that subject, if somebody is doing this deliberately then they are so stupid its untrue, and if they are caught then they should be thrown out and banned from speedway for a good period of time, with there mugshot distributed around every track in the country... -

I believe the drop down to the PL has done King the world of good based on what i saw last friday at Somerset. If he rides tonight like i saw last week, he will score points.. -

Rubbish is an understatment. Absolutely diabolical from a No 1 and rider of Nicks class. Nick rode very well last friday, and that is the sort of form i would expect him to display on a regular basis.. Im very sure that Garry May will not be happy with that overall performance.. -

Your boys are going to have to work very hard for this tonight. It won't be a pushover..And you need the points. -
Get a plane into Bristol Airport, and hire a car. Job done. Problem is mate, you will always get some bonehead who will aim there airhorn straight at your ears, not very nice, but thats there mentality. Airhorns should be directed straight up in the air. Excuse the pun. Amasing what a british world champion can do. As ive said in another post, think how much better it would be if we could maximise that with the National press!!
-
The reason i bring it up is its very moving, but only if its sung properly like that chap did, if any of the riders don't get Goosebumps standing there listening to that then they shouldn't be their..
-
What happened to the Welsh National Anthem, i was looking forward to that.

I think i would agree with you Phil. But you have to keep investing, especially on the track, as that is the main stage so to speak. Speculate to accumulate and all that. Sadly, in this day and age given the hotels would make limited money over the year if they get a captive Audience they are going to take advantage. But end of the day its down to the fans, if they want to stay friday and or saturday they are going to have to pay. That said, as far as tickets are concerned , i do feel that BSI should dangle the odd carrot. I don't know what the official attendance was, but it looked fairly good, but we really need to get the National papers more involved, and if Tai becomes World Champion again, what a good place to start...
