  1. Oh come on West Row misfit, everybody knows the man with the little black book is always right.. 35, 700
  2. No go on, tell me, im all ears?? So you have 7 days or maybe even 5 to put a track in including take the grass up the fence airfence base shale whiteline startgate with electrics pack it and pray... which pray would be about right. Not much room for error then, small wonder its a bloody shambles. And you was one of many that moaned about it last year... nothing changes then.. Then you would say that wouldn't you, the same as you glossed over the problems last year, Phillip... I do hope it doesn't happen again this year, otherwise youl be bombarded... Including by the man with the little black book...
  3. Were not talking weeks or months, we are talking a couple of weeks. To my knowledge Cardiff have had no events in the last week. If your going to do it, you do it properly. Now, just say its finished on Wednesday, then they have a problem, you have no time to rectifiy it and its been given no time to bed in.. Lay it 2 weeks in advance giving it a week to bed in, any problems that arise can then be rectified without running round like headless chickens.. Old saying fail to prepare prepare to fail..
  4. Why? After the last GP they had two full clear weeks to sort it. It should have been laid by saturday, and given a week to bed in. If there is a balls up they have nobody else but themselves to blame. And i hope its shale, not sand based, and been under wraps. After last years debacle if its happens again the organisers will not be popular..
  5. Hopefully. They had a clear two weeks from the last GP to prepare it. It can be done in four days, gives it over a week to bed in, if, they get it right... And we would like shale please, not sand... Brand new, shale or sand? Edit. Looks like im not going to get an answer to that question. Whatever it is, I hope it was covered this year...
  6. He did, but he openly admits himself he retired to early.. When he was riding for Rye he was averaging 9.94 at No 4. That was in his teens, He now helps out a Poole Cycle Speedway, his son Arron rides for them. But i always said, he was a very good talent. who did, imo retire to early.
  7. Kevin Smith. Should have been a far better rider than he was at his peak. Could have been in the Scott Nicholls Tai Woffinden bracket. Definately retired far to early. But there you go, hindsight and all that..
  8. We need go no further... good post.. Thats a lovely compliment from a Swindon fan..Go to the top of the class pal..
  9. That a Referee's box and several mounds to stand on in the middle of a field overlooking the M5.. Oh,and single light stantions, they now have double. a ,lovely clubhouse with food outlet and terracing and a promotion that has ambition. Oh and there is still plenty of potential for development. And if the club ever got the PL or EL riders championship, it wouldn't be unjust. Hypocrite am I?, ok, if you say so...
  10. Really, and you can prove that, can you?? Why start the season if you are only happy with mid table. Somerset want to win the League, any other club who doesn't want that are cheating their fans. its called ambition.
  11. Its true, off a bike he's one of the nicest blokes you could meet, on a bike he's a bloody Animal, im very suprised the way he carries on somebody hasn't really lumped him. Scott Nicholls Craig Boyce where are you when we need ya!! That said, if he rode for any EL club, and ours he's be loved within a week.
  12. Got to say, when he came to poole backend two year ago, that was the best id seen him ride, but even i couldn't forsee the improvement he's made beyond that, He's taken even that to another level. Got to take your hat off to the lad, he's done good, his father would be very very proud of him..
  13. Not at all, they just have to go out and ride their normal meeting, but make their presence felt from the get go...
  14. Somerset have absolutely nothing to lose, stick them under presure and make their intentions known from the get go, and keep turning the screw.
  15. That's better, Garrys words of wisdom must have struck a chord after last nights dismal showing...
  16. And quite right to. They let the club themselves and the fans down. Im sure you'll see a different team tonight..
  17. What a wind up merchant you are. I don't know why you bother..
  18. Very sad news. RIP super Simmo. A legend at Wimborne Road.
  19. Ha ha, not a chance she will come and introduce herself to me..
  20. Didn't look like there was 9,000 ther to me Phil..
  21. Well, there's your answer Coomie. What a shame no Somerset fans can be bothered to participate and comment on tonights meeting. Got to be a home win.
  22. Oh dear, thats very sad to hear. Best wishes to Simmo his wife and family. He was a legend at Wimborne rd.
