  1. I agree with some of your points, re Bewley, but i also agree with Sid. Appart from natural progression, he needs the sponsorship to move forward, but like many young brit lads who have gone by the wayside, they struggle to carry on due to lack of sponsorship, Dan has to keep banging on doors. but he has a hell of a way to go before he reaches proper international level.. Fricke is a good rider, but also very inconsistant, one swan doesnt make a summer, and imo in the long term Brady will be the better rider..I agree wth Hydred, Crump and Adams were much of a muchness, but Jason got the breaks Leigh didn't. Leigh was probably one of the best riders around not to be world champion.
  2. Everybody is entitled to there opinion mate, i believe Brady will eventually be a far better rider than fricke, Brady is a slow burner, and will continue to improve. It would be nice to see a young Brit become a good rider, but does he have the ambition? Sadly, most British riders nowadays don't, and just pick up there weekly cheque and that will do.
  3. And how old is Brady? Gurrantee Brady will wipe the floor with him in 2-3 years time. But he must curb his enthusiasum at the gate, thats what cost him the Aussie championship.
  4. Mate, its just our opinion, Fricke maybe better than Brady at the moment, but i guranttee that Brady will way surpass him in 2-3 years time..
  5. A full fit and focused and injury free Chris will do. He will also give these upstarts a run for ther money in the GP's..Form is temparary class is permanant
  6. All Chris has had in the last few years is personal issues and injuries, as i said, clear them and you will see a different Chris Holder..even at 30.
  7. Everybody is entitled to there opinion mate, but as ive said a million times, he maybe 30, but a fit focused and issue free Chris Holder will do a lot better than many think...
  8. Almost right there mate. Brady will continue to improve, he's a slow burner. Josh will be a decent second string, Chris will top the averages, as ive said many times, a fit and focused Chris Holder will top the premiership standings and make a big hole in the GP series.Linus is very keen to be part of the poole set up, he WANTS, to ride for us, I personally think he is a good signing and will attain his average. Kasper could be a bit of class, he has a very good style, and is a confident lad. If Mateus stays clear of injury he could be a trump card, James will improve, the second night of speedway will do him the world of good.. But, like every team, as ive said, you have to stay sound and come to the party, If we do, this is potentially the best team we've had for quite a few years...
  9. Perhaps he cannot think of anything to make up. Lets face it, if Steve o can say its all above board then he will have a problem.thinking of anything...
  10. But the old adage being, we must stay sound. the potential is there, but they have to put it down on the track..
  11. Mate you know as well as i do, Matt works in advance, This team should be very good if they all stay sound, lets get this season out the way first, finishing in October !!
  12. You said it yourself mate, its within the rules, you admit it yourself, thats good enough..And Matt always does his homework, and that makes it right....And yes im still on the mend, im not out the woods yet..No wind up here mate....
  13. yes that is right, its a cost cutting measure. I spoke to Giles about an ago, and he's fine, no problem..
  14. Thank you...Neil also knows Giles release was a cost cutting measure, there is no malice, Giles and Matt have been friends for donkeys years, but clearly pinge doesnt know what he's talking about.Every club in the country will have to cut to keep there club afloat.
  15. I think we would know more down here than you would mate... But even that wont be enough for you...so stick to your own club, who ever it is.
  16. So i see, Greggy would be a most welcome addition.
  17. No Chris Brady josh and shanes will be fine, still the same shape just been a lot better and more consistant on the track. As i said, just needs titivating from time to time, and the four wheel blade putting round every week before prep. then you can do what you like with it..
  18. I thought this thread was about the TV deal, or suposidly lack of it...
  19. Really the star has it wrong and i do not recall Neil saying that. Tell me, how much truth is there in the daily papers nowadays ? and you dont clearly know what your talking about.. DUH.. Walk on mate..
  20. Another poster who cannot see the wood from the trees. Giles was a NONE funding/contrabuting promoter, but did a hell of a lot of work for Matt, he's left on good terms and they still have a sound friendship after 20 yrs. As for the racesuits, Its sound financial common sense, yes its a cost cutting measure which im sure you will find at most clubs now. The measure now will keep us at the top for years to come. Keep blowing those bubbles mate... Don't write something you clearly know nothing about.. Facts pal..
  21. Jealous Stevie boy, Matt does his job, next years side will be planned by june...
  22. Which ones are those mate, ive not said it, nothing is guranteed.. first they all have to stay sound and they all have to come to the party. Yes the team is packed with massive potential but we still have to do it on the track. One thing i will gurantee, the new boys will be getting plenty of laps in on P&P day. Both Neil and Chris can play a pivetable part in teaching the new lads how to ride the poole track properly..
  23. Read again mate, there was a designated thread on the general discusions section re me, and i greatly appreciated everybody concerns no matter which club they supported, and i still have a fair way to go im not out the woods by any stretch.. This section is for Speedway, should Gavan had started a thread in the discusions section he may have got more sympthy from some, several, including me sympathised with him, its not a good place to be in, personally or financially. Clearly you like to read what you want to read. Don't worry Steve, your dreams will all come true come October...
