  1. Steady gambled with heat 12,which was the right thing to do even though it didn't work.Otherwise 14 would have been a nailed on 5-1 for the Witches with Bellego having a 4th ride.
  2. To be fair,Josh scored heavily against Kings Lynn home and away in 2021 and that rather boosted his average,so much so that the Tigers couldn't for him in for 2022!

  5. Only blank at home as the Tigers were at Ipswich and Kings Lynn for League matches and then back again for the two Pairs rounds, then the Stadium work began. Events outside the Promoters control meant they couldn't stage the home meetings against Ipswich and Kings Lynn as planned. If they had gone on,all that would have been needed to be fitted in would have being the Pairs round.
  6. The Colts meetings were on Fridays, the British Final restaged on the Sunday,so that takes care of 8 meetings. BV Home Meetings on Mondays Peter Craven Ind 2 League Cup 10 Premiership 1 Play Off Semi 1 Play Off Final + 1 Pairs Round (Next Thursday) Meetings postponed/Abandoned.British Final,Pairs R6 (Put back) ------------------------------------ SH Home Meetings Thursday/Monday Todd Kurtz Ind 2 League Cup 9 Premiership + Ipswich (Next Monday) 1 Play Off Semi 1 Play Off Final 1 League Cup Final (TBA) - 1 Pairs Round (Leicester) Meetings Postponed.Pairs,Belle Vue,Kings Lynn (Rain) Wolves (Damaged Fence) Ipswich (Queens Funeral) Kings Lynn (Police closed off the area around the Stadium) Plus 5 Thursdays used for visits to Ipswich (1),Kings Lynn (2) and 2 rounds of the Pairs.
  7. We used a Wednesday back in 2016 so it might be possible next week. You would have to let any riders involved in the Championship Jubilee Final at Poole stay with their clubs.Lynn could book Robert Lambert as guest for Richard Lawson!
  8. Ideally we'd build the team with Lewi starting at reserve alongside Justin or Connor ,depending on Leicesters plans in his case.
  9. I guess Steady thinks Justin is the better gater of the two.Still,at least we have a TM who makes changes, unlike a couple of previous ones in our past!
  10. Barely rained at all in S7 a couple of miles southeast of Owlerton, just enough to dampen the roof tops.
  11. Last meeting of 2017 Cue,another time was against Plymouth in 2014,the night Taylor Poole had his British career ending crash. As long as I can remember, 10pm was the cut off.Very occasionally it has been exceeded but only by a few minutes,so to be still going at almost 10.15pm was unusual.
  12. Stefan Nielsen 2m 8r 5pts ave 2.50 Not likely to have scored any different than Justin Sedgman.Tigers problems lastnight were in the top 5.
  13. Liked to see how Eurosport would have coped with old Frank banging the two minutes on during the ad breaks!
  14. Damien Bates on lastnight's problem after Danny's crash, “But I can honestly, honestly tell you now it was such a rare, unique, freak incident, I’ve never seen it happen before and I’d be surprised if we see it again. “Where Danny and his bike hit the air fence on bend two, it burst a couple of bags. “But somehow, the angle everything has hit, it destroyed the inflatable tube which gets the air flowing between each bag. “Replacing an air bag is usually a ten minute job at most, but with this ‘air pathway’, if you like, damaged, it was a much more complicated job. “To add to the issue, it was the air bag that connects to the gate that opens and closes to let the tractors and ambulances out on bend two. “This is a slightly different type of air bag to the rest and has to be at a certain level to connect with the rest of the air fence. “Our track staff tried several things before having to come up with a makeshift solution on the spot – and had they not figured that out, the meeting would’ve had to be abandoned at that point, we wouldn’t have seen any more racing, we wouldn’t have got a result and everyone would’ve had to have left there and then and we’d have had to have all came back and do it all over again on another night."
  15. We at Sheffield miss out on all the fun with Poole,we haven't faced them since 1996!
  16. Been a bit damp, but nothing major, most of the rain seems to have missed s6.
