  1. What a great meeting. You'll have to go a long way for a better one this season. All 13 riders deserve credit absolutely brilliant stuff.
  2. T/S can be used only once at any point from heats 5 to 14 (apart from heat 8) when a team is 6 behind. They're allowed in the group stage but not in meetings over 2 legs (Semi-Finals and final plus the KOC) is how understand it
  3. Yeah I was going to post the same but I thought i'd maybe have dreamt it.
  4. Redcar full strength Lewis Kerr guests for Steve Worrall
  5. Only Redcar, Peterborough and Sheffield not riding so not many options R/R might be best especially against this opposition We saw how poor Barker was last Friday Peterborough only really have Nicholls but his average too high There's Howarth or Laser Bjerre but would you want them getting track practice a week before they visit with Sheffield?
  6. PETERBOROUGH can confirm a major investment for their future – with the addition of several new riders to the club’s asset base. The T.Balfe Construction Panthers finalised a deal on the eve of the season for the purchase of five British riders. They announced the signing of Scott Nicholls at press and practice last month, and can now confirm former Panthers riders Chris Harris, Ben Barker and Adam Roynon are also on their retained list. In addition, the arrangement included Jason Garrity, but he has subsequently moved to Scunthorpe in a swap which sees current Peterborough man Michael Palm Toft become a full Panthers asset. 7. First of all Best Wishes to Steve. Garrity was class will take some stopping round the EWR if he rides like that all season. Auty also. (Garrity sounded like he was loving every minute of it in his Interview. Scunthorpe signed Garrity as an asset from Peterborough with Palm Toft going the other way) They were backed up by a great 1 and 2 Partnership in Worrall and Nielsen, Allen looked good after a few bike troubles and Manzares will be fine after a few meetings, Also Danny Phillips looked pretty good despite his score always on the pace and putting in lots effort. Just one more thing if you see this Rob Thanks for the Shoutout after Heat 1. You've built a great side this year. Hopefully Steve will be back ASAP.
  8. Just read that Gino has had to pull out of Jon Armstrong's testimonial due to visa issues does this effect him riding for the Scorpions?
  9. Phillips, Allen, Garrity and Manzares have already raced elsewhere. Only Auty and Nielsen are going in cold but i'm sure they'll have been practicing a plenty at the EWR
  10. This Lakeside team will take some stopping in meetings over 2 legs. They'll hammer (no pun intended) most teams at home probably by more then they'll lose by away
  11. Gino and Garrity should blow some cobwebs off at Lakeside on Friday along side Steve
  12. Very good signing from Glasgow. I was quite surprised no body had picked him up in the 2nd tier already especially on the 2 pt average
  13. Danny Phillips according to a friend on facebook who was at the meeting
  14. I'm sure Odsalboy would love to see Saul Bulley or David Speight take Bates's place till he's fit or his Hero Mason Searsby
  15. I wouldn't be concerned about Scunthorpe not naming their number 7. In 2002 Hull Vikings didn't name their number 7 till everyone turned up at the press and practice day. Although I hope for Scunthorpe's sake it's not David Speight like it was for Hull
  16. Anders Rowe, Taylor Hampshire and Jacob Clouting sign
  17. I'm wondering where does the 5.20 figure mentioned on Edinburgh's website come from? Do Buster and Co at the head quarters just put some numbers in a hat and draw one at random nowadays?
  18. Says Mateusz is 4.54 on Poole's website
  19. The only problem is with picking a random number 7 who won't be expected to score is if a rider gets injured meaning r/r or worse the strong reserve gets injured leaving the number 7 having to take 7 rides could cost the team a meeting. So it nyeeds to be someone who can at least mix it or be on pace. Not someone like Bulley, Dwyer, Halder or McDonald whose names I've seen mentioned. Jack Thomas or Bickley (if he doesn't ride for Workington) would be great candidates.
