  1. Comets Are Next Opponents For Witches Tuesday, 04 August 2015 20:30 The Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches welcome the Workington ‘Thomas Armstrong’ Comets to Foxhall on Thursday night for a Premier League fixture. Workington are one of four (possibly six) teams battling for two playoff spots and currently have eight points less than Ipswich but have four meetings in hand. With only six meetings left to complete Ipswich need to take points from every one to secure their place in that top six. Their cause isn't helped after Nico Covatti picked up a hand injury at the PL Fours on Sunday and Rohan Tungate is still serving a 21 day ban. Ex-Witch Richie Worrall has been booked to cover for Rohan and R/R will be used to cover Nico, giving Danny King an extra ride. Matt Wiliamson will be missing for Workington due to injury and Ben Morley will ride in his place. Apart from that they will field their usual team. Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches 1. Danny King © 9.49, 2. 2. David Howe coming out retirement already?
  3. . Really could have a comeback for that but not going to stoop to your and your clubs pathetic level.
  4. Make your mind up old girl yesterday it was injuries to Howe and Douglas that had spoilt the season and now it's all down to Tungate getting hammered by Sheffield, losing at home to Redcar, hammered by rye house at home, home hammering by Edinburgh and Somerset all Tungates fault right? If your Promoter hadn't built a crap team to start with at start of the season E.g Signing Howe and Davies as Heat leaders you wouldn't be in the position your in. Only one person to blame
  5. Hans has tweeted he's riding in England 4 consecutive nights starting Wednesday. Andersen and Ritchings guesting in this
  6. BWD already said he won't do PL this year. http://eastbourneeagles.co/news.php?extend.770.1
  7. So do Scunthorpe. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE Alex Harkess (Edinburgh) remains as Chairman for the last of his six-year stint in the position. Chris Van Straaten (Wolverhampton) takes over as Vice-Chairman, with George English (Newcastle) and Rob Godfrey (Scunthorpe) remaining on the Management Committee. Former vice-chairman Jon Cook (Lakeside) did not stand for re-election, with Keith Chapman (King’s Lynn) joining the Management Committee. The reserve member, to cover any absence across the Association, will be David Hemsley (Leicester).
  8. Ben Wilson crashed at Sheffield, Ambulance on track. Hope he's ok but looks like Scunny might need another reserve guest
  9. I think Lewy means a 1 to 7 in any league. Williamson was in Cradleys having said that it should be fine as James Wright has been doing it in the EL as part of the guest draft list
  10. Morris returns for Glasgow R/R for Howe Konopka and Ellis at Reserve
  11. Wow he sacked Ben Powell. Ben Powell that superstar speedway rider numerous time champion etc yeah right. If it had been Auty who had done it he'd have laughed it off as a nothing matter would Godfrey or better still sat in the middle of the track with Josh and have a little gathering seems to be their thing.
  12. I'm sure Louis saw what happened as he was there. He's only doing like any other Promoter would and sticking it up for his riders whether he is right or wrong as I'm Godfrey would if it was on the other foot or Buster Chapman would, Matt Ford would, Mick Horton would. Every Single Promoter in the country would back their own rider.
  13. R/R at 1 for Auty (Guess none of Godfrey's mates where available to guest) Konopka in for Wilson whose hurt his back Apparently.
  14. In Stefans defence when I was speaking to him after the meeting he was the first one to admit he got lucky and if he had been excluded he would have understood but it wasn't his decision to make. He was rather upset why someone with the experience of Wilkinson needed to react the way he did?.
  15. Bobby Ott What a Legend. One of my very first Speedway Heroes with Stekkers and Paul Thorp
  16. The Video doesn't look good in Rohan's case In my opinion but the first video also shows how this situation wouldn't have happened had the ref excluded Auty in the first running. So basically it's what we knew already if the ref had done his job first time round none of it would have happened.
  17. and how's that biased against Scunthorpe if it's a jibe at Josh Auty? FYI Douglas has always impressed me and Now Lunna is getting used the track he looks mighty impressive too. Wilkinson, Pijper and Ben Wilson get no better and Davies was better and looked more comfortable in the number 2 spot.
  18. You was there was you? So if Wilkinson has could a swipe at Brady Kurtz, Josh Grajczonek, Leigh Lanham you would be fine with it? Of course your post has nothing to do with your hatred for my and hatred for you though
  19. That's correct and he's not wrong Yet none try to kick fellow riders off their bikes like one point wonder Wilko 😉
