  2. http://www.speedwaystar.net/News.aspx
  3. Benji Compton has signed for Kent replacing David Mason
  4. Lucky to get a draw thanks to a dodgy reffing decision, Scunny only 2 reserves and a fair starting grid away from a decent team.
  5. Would be a massive improvement on the reserves they have now if this is so.
  6. about 3 days. Till Irving was sacked by Workington
  7. Craig Cook just posted on Twitter he has another guest booking coming up could this be it? If Cook rides instead of Lawson the Scorpions could be in trouble. Saying that can Cook ride with Edinburgh at the race way 6 days after this meeting? Edit: Cook is in for Lawson
  8. Craig Cook's riding for someone (Guess he's riding instead of Lawson who got injured riding for Lakeside tonight or Doyle isnt anymore) http://instagram.com/p/YgJOg-hX4k/
  9. Soon as Richie announced he was going back to Lakeside next year i think that ruled him out of Scunny's plans. I think Scorpions plans were always to keep the most of last year's team as possible. As for Steve i dont think he would have been in the thinking of the Scorpions Promotion this time round.
  10. Tyson Nelson's already signed for Rye House (Subject to Visa)
  11. I'd like to see it happen but i'm still not sure it will.
  12. Result in my programme says Palm Toft, Haines, Wells, Wolbert 3-3 24-12
  13. Michelsen nearly joined Scunthorpe to replace David Howe during the 2012 season but he had too many fixture clashes to commit to racing.
  14. The Kid has a big future, Scunthorpe arent gonna let him go on the cheap thats for sure. Dont think Ipswich would be able to afford the fee in all honesty. If Scunthorpe were to sell it will be to one of the big clubs E.g Poole, Kings Lynn or Peterborough when he catches the eye of them.
  15. Yeah either or would do me, i did take the Richie to Lakeside thing in to consideration i must admit
  16. I'd Love to see. 1. Josh Auty 8.09 2. Emiliano Sanchez 6.20 (Blew the Scorpions away with a 15 point max on his last visit to the EWR certainly knew the line from list last spell with the scorpions) 3. Thomas Jorgensen 6.42 4. Ashley Birks 5.59 5. David Howe 7.89 6. Michael Palm Toft 5.21 7. Stefan Nielsen 3.00 ( I know a lot of people think the deal is already done for him to ride elsewhere but as a Scorpions asset it would be good to see him given a real chance to show his stuff and i really think the current under 19 british champion can up his average by 2 points or more next season) Total: 42.40 That team would be very exciting to watch and have a very good chance of defending the Scorpions Crown next year.
  17. 1. your teams top rider? Josh Auty 2. your teams most improved rider? Could be any of Birks, Jorgensen or Palm Toft 3. best match witnessed Scunthorpe vs Somerset playoff final. not the best racewise but the one that ment the most. 4. worst match witnessed? Scunthorpe vs Workington (Plkoc) just days after the awful incident in Poland couldnt enjoy the meeting plus Scunny lost. 5. did your team do better or worse than expected Better a lot better. Thought they had a good chance of making the playoffs but never expected them to win it 6. best fans to visit your track? Atmosphere wise it has to be Berwick 7. best track( other than your own team) Sheffield 8. worst points of the season? #Rico
  18. Updates http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Mildenhall&thread=11280&page=1
  19. Weather forecast is very confusing it says light rain then the next line down says 0.0mm of rain expected.
  20. Richard Hall is still guesting for Somerset apprantley. Coventry look for alternative. Makes sense a shorter journey for the northern based Hall. Bunyan got a max for Rye tonight wouldnt mind seeing him get another chance.
