Its all hindsight, Would the Full strength Saints have knocked out Stoke over 2 leg's had the Potters has Birks and Pickard in the first leg not R/R and Tommy Fenwick?

Ah yes that sounds about right the reason i said 5 is cause i thought there was 5 qualifying rounds rather then 4. So really should be top 8 but knowing Speedway they'll have some seeded riders through already that nobody knows about.

Just to confirm how many is it that get through top 5?

Jerran, Tom and Gary will all need to be on top form to give the Saints any chance of keeping the score respectable. Although saying that Young Max could be a spoiler at reserve.

Just got back wasnt a bad meeting. The track was very slick half way through the meeting and much of it was gate and go after that. Ben Reade, Max Clegg and Tom Young very impressive for their respective teams. One thing i will say is I'm Scratching my head how Danny Phillips is in the line-up for the Saints this year, I know its all about building for the future for the Saints this year but from what i've seen today maybe its a year too early for Danny. What i would say though is If when Olly Greenwood is fit the Saints brought him in for Phillips as they are both 3 pointers, The Saints will be battling for the Playoffs not just next year but this year also.

Mildenhall have a Gem in Nielsen, He'll surprise many a person during this season. Wouldnt surprise me if a few PL teams arent knocking on the door come the middle or end of this season. Improved Immensly over the Winter and having the likes of Michael Lee and Chris Louis on his side will only improve him further.

The way i see it is. The stoke team is Birks Pickard Atkin Naylor Worrall Berwick Reade Adam Mckinna rides when Worrall or Birks are on PL Duty.

Just seen that Adam Mckinna has signed for Stoke has one of the riders Stoke already signed dropped out? Surely they cant fit. Birks, Worrall, Atkin, Mckinna and Pickard all in? Their averages work out at 37.52 so one of Birks, Worrall, Atkin or Pickard must have dropped out or are they gonna take in turns to ride with Birks and Worrall also having PL Duties?

The Number 7 isnt going to be unveiled till the Press and Practice Day on the 18th I'm sure i read.

Wouldnt be surprised at Seeing Gary as the last rider in the Saints line-up. Unless he's not riding NL this year there is only Buxton who could now fit Gary in their line-up apart from the Saints and not sure Buxton would suit Gary.

Awesome Meeting. Brilliant Racing as Already said. IF YOU READ THIS MR GODFERY: Please dont do away with the Saints. They are Superb whether its the Highs of this season or like the last few seasons before its always very entertaining and the racing at this level is on par if not better then Premier League.
