After been at Scunthorpe today, It really does make me Sctrach my head how the likes of Stefan Nielsen are missing out on Premier League spots for these Jonny foreigners that come over, How one of them has a team place i'll never know. As a Scunthorpe Asset (not been biased or anything) but would love to see Nielsen in the Scorpions Line-up in some Capacity this season.

Ah yes that sounds about right the reason i said 5 is cause i thought there was 5 qualifying rounds rather then 4. So really should be top 8 but knowing Speedway they'll have some seeded riders through already that nobody knows about.

Jerran, Tom and Gary will all need to be on top form to give the Saints any chance of keeping the score respectable. Although saying that Young Max could be a spoiler at reserve.

Just got back wasnt a bad meeting. The track was very slick half way through the meeting and much of it was gate and go after that. Ben Reade, Max Clegg and Tom Young very impressive for their respective teams. One thing i will say is I'm Scratching my head how Danny Phillips is in the line-up for the Saints this year, I know its all about building for the future for the Saints this year but from what i've seen today maybe its a year too early for Danny. What i would say though is If when Olly Greenwood is fit the Saints brought him in for Phillips as they are both 3 pointers, The Saints will be battling for the Playoffs not just next year but this year also.
