Fourentee, Scotland used to ride in the UK round of the World Team Cup against England, Australia and New Zealand. They were replaced after the emergence of the United States as a majot speedway nation. Scotland also reached a couple of World Pairs Final during the 1970s. Let them have a team and let them have a chance in the World Cup qualifiers. It would great to see them getting through and riding against England. All the best Rob

But what if a rider is injured in his first outing? Just have a reserve, who are allowed to take a maximum of FIVE riders for ANY reason, but only two rides per section of races. Also the reserve can't take the joker ride. That would stop any fiddling. All the best Rob

And why did these riders have a divine right to be at Brandon? They didn't quality - 16 other riders did. Simple as that. It's about the time the same happened to the GP, with no seeded riders. Holloway's actions were those of a thug. He should be banned from the GP pits. Incidentally, I also have no problems with the riders having a bit of handbags - it gets heated out there and the odd bit of handbags is good for the sport. But the pit crew have no right to get involved, and if they do, they shouldn't be down there. All the best Rob
