  1. The actual rule is: 012.1.11 Leaving the Track A rider whose machine crosses the inner edge of the track with 2 wheels must be disqualified unless, in the opinion of the Referee, the action was taken in the interests of safety for other riders or the rider involved was forced off course by another rider. I would say the wheel does go entirely over the line (remember speedway tyres are not exactly wide), but it didn't need to, in any case. It's just whether both wheels had crossed the inner edge (in other words, both wheels are entirely or partially on the centre green). Both wheels quite clearly do. Note the word "must" unless taken in the interests of safety. I don't think passing another rider counts as the interests of safety. It's an automatic exclusion - both wheels were on the centre green.
  2. Yep, wheel over! That's what Ryan Ingram was taking the photos of afterwards - proof that the back wheel went over Hopefully Carrington will be removed as a referee
  3. Because it was Poole both times and they always push the boundaries of the rulebook. Some would say they cheat, but I'm being kind.
  4. So did Scunny for the cup final in 2023. But a play-off final isn't a cup final. It's bigger than that - it decides the league championship
  5. Are you actually for rea? The dates were added to the Edinburgh website 7 days ago. I think you're on the wind up
  6. It can only be extended if Glasgow show evidence of trying to sign a replacement for Howarth. Who have they tried to sign?
  7. I fancy Scunny over 2 legs against Glasgow, especially, according to the rulebook, Tigers are down to 75% guests for Howarth for the rest of the season, now that the 28 days for a retired rider has expired.
  8. Second best race of the night, in terms of racing. Best one was Heat 9. Where's that one?
  9. Yup. Team planning underway. And don't forget it's NOT the end of the season, since still three home fixtures for the Chargers
  10. Because any declaration takes 72 hours to come into effect. It you want to see when any team declaration was made, look at the BSPL website at the date it comes into effect and deduct 3 days.
  11. 75% of fixtures reached by Poole on Saturday - no further signings permitted (Lightcap declaration was made on Saturday - you can tell that by effective date). And, yes, Ed Kennett can't guest if he doesn't have a team place.
  12. A 28-day-ban is a 28-day-ban. It's not selectiive
  13. I think the only way Ipswich could have used R/R last night, was to claim Lawson was with-holding his services and a 28-day-ban should follow
  14. Hi Lisa, it's not misread, I could show you the Whatsapp with a (C) by Kyle's name and nothing next to Zach. It makes no difference really, but it will be interesting to see who is the Poole captain tonight.
  15. It's from the team submitted by the Poole management to Oxford for tonight. It does seem odd, since Zach Cook is still riding. We'll see who is captain on the night.
  16. Plus BSN Series qualifying meetings. As all laid out in the rulebook. The rules have now been the same for 3 seasons.
  17. 15 out of 20 is 75%. David Howe is correct
  18. The poll was to ask fans about an alternative race-night for re-arranged meetings. Both are re-arranged meetings. Berwick was postponed in April to enable the BSN Series meeting against Plymouth to take place; Poole was postponed because of the football World Cup. Wednesdays were proving fruitless, especially since Poole are riding on six successive Wednesdays from next week and they have priority on Wednesdays. It's clearly allowed in any case. Poole have been riding on a Good Friday ever since they joined the Championship.
  19. Looks like BSPL have followed the rulebook in putting together the line-up this time around. For the original staging, they didn't, hence the real reason for the postponement.
  20. What actually happened there - it makes little sense. Poole definitely didn't benefit from Lawson being missing. Why did he miss the meeting in Denmark though an injury which doesn't seem serious at all (rode in England on both Monday and Thursday and looked fine around quite a tricky Ipswich track). If he wasn't injured, then why not ride for Poole on Wednesday? All very weird!
