before they closed the back straight etc i always sat on the wooden steps on exit of bend 2, then would wander round and see Mr Brown and the 1st bend loonies.
away trips on the coach were ok but we did a little 'breakaway' minibus that was always fun
my cousin used to sit with Mrs Rising in the grandstand so always paid a visit to the grandstand too, i don't know how i got to see all the racing with all the meeting up with people
true, i've seen some rubbish at Wembley, in fact other than a handful of races in '81 that was nothing special, but people remember the atmosphere and just a few races.
if Cardiff was full this would happen there too
every speedway fan should sample a Polish GP, i've been to Warsaw 3 times and absolutely love it, atmosphere i haven't felt in speedway since Wembley '81.
if Cardiff could be filled think how amazing that would be
if there was a GP at the NSS (i doubt it'll happen while Cardiff want it), they need to have a lot more going on around the stadium than that one food truck, but there needs to be entertainment and good food, and i think that's the only place NSS fails to tick a box
might be too close to the big drainage system in place if it was on the centre, and also didn't think Buster owned the back carpark.
i'm wondering about one of the fields opposite?
first time Piotr Swist came to the UK i looked after him for a couple of days, he couldn't speak English, i can't speak Polish, but he went to Australia having learnt how to play pool and drink beer
if it's not at Belle Vue then Kings Lynn or Glasgow would be the obvious choices due to FIM regulations.
for the better racing i'd go for Glasgow, but for space etc it will likely be Kings Lynn
perfect, thanks so much for the info
i never kept any records etc from my riding, no progs or anything .. i didn't do much but i'm proud of what i did with the resources and i had a lot of fun
