  1. care homes on the south coast close early maybe?
  2. I was going to say Kings Lynn must be up near the top .. they were fairly dominant in the PL seasons
  3. a rider was excluded at Peterborough the other week for going the wrong way up to the tapes then on the grass briefly then off to the start line, and no replacement allowed, think it was Sam Simota. Zagar came across the concrete last week after a race had been stopped, but I wondered if he should be out as they had been under starters orders Had a good chat with Nicolai about KL, he loved it and is really hoping for plenty more opportunities - I thought he did well for his first meeting at the track, and was certainly pushing to overtake in his races

  8. speedway has to be about continuity, that goes for regular meetings and regular teams. if you have no meetings for a number of weeks, people realise they can do without and that means future visits will get less and less. I'm also one that thinks that teams need some continuity, give supporters riders to support as 'one of your own', buy their merchandise etc, and it should work both ways. with squad systems, I can't see that happening, I think it will be a case of 2 teams riding against eachother but no one really knowing who will be in the teams

  11. if Starman looked a little closer he would see Kings Lynn don't actually have an airfence, they don't use the rubbish that tracks like Poole have
  12. and Plymouth would be one of the better teams to show there
  13. just popped home after getting photos at the practice .. looks like it's going to be a good meeting, quite a few of the riders looking good out there, definitely going to be hard fought
  14. I said it before, why pay out loads on sorting the track when you'll be riding at Oxford soon enough
  15. track needs to be dry for Nicholls and deep for King, so maybe see what it's like on the day. the rest should be Woffinden, Lambert, Cook, Ellis

  20. I'm looking forward to Busk Jakobsen getting a chance, I rate him highly, and another I would consider is Kenneth Hansen - he lives a couple of miles from Kings Lynn, is a 100% trier, and is great with the supporters
  21. it's not complete rubbish, I even asked one of your riders where the support was and he said it doesn't happen now!

  23. no doubt, but I always thought Cradley boasted about their support and a couple of seasons ago when you were winning there were loads
