  1. If anyone thought this meeting was poor then you have been spoiled!
  2. No way should they replace Sedgmen he's proving to be a very good team man.Leicester were excellent and another good meeting at BV.Fricke also proving his critics wrong he was superb.
  3. Surely its down to the material on the track and preparation. Its a great size and shape so why isn't it producing good racing?
  4. I used to watch all my speedway on the big fast northern tracks.BV at the old Hyde Rd,Sheffield and one of my favourites the Shay at Halifax. After watching at the dog track for so long the NSS is so much better.Would watch speedway anywhere though.
  5. To be fair its only a few BV fans who were probably annoyed about last nights result. The dog track wasn't good but worst track in league for about 20yrs,not sure that's true.
  6. Ask yourself this Starman how could a woman who you say knows nothing about speedway get a top job presenting speedway on BT sport. She has also done lots of work for Belle Vue.You are 100% wrong.
  7. Can you just picture the scene where Starman is in Matt's office trying to explain himself! I think Shovvy should film it on periscope lol
  8. A lot of Poole fans are honest posters on here they are let down by the usual mouthpieces who could never give an unbiased report. They are an embarrassment to their club.
  9. Somerset weren't that good,Poole got their set ups wrong again allowing the home team to go 3mph quicker.Same thing happened at BV and Wolves away. They were amazing at Leicester though, I'm sure they won that one!
  10. Says the guy who was saying Natalie Quirk says what she's told to on BT sport.
  11. Poole weren't that good Leicester just didn't get their set ups right!
  12. Lovely weather around the Belle Vue area now the suns out.Hope the pirates fans who travel up enjoy the racing.Couldn't someone have given starman a lift up?
  13. Starman if you watched the Poole v BV match what is your honest assessment of why according to Steve Shovlar it was a bore fest.I am expecting some good racing tonight at BV so what's different?
  14. What's worrying is that at Poole on wed and Swindon last night the racing was classed as poor. This must be down to poor track prep. There was more than enough good riders on show at both meetings and yet dull boring racing? Can't see this happening at BV though we Aces fans are so lucky to watch at the NSS every week there was probably more passing in one heat at the Peter Craven meeting than the full match at Poole.Give the riders a good race track and the racing will improve.Poorly prepared tracks are killing speedway IMO.
  15. Sheffield used to be a very good race track. Its big and fast so what is the problem? If its down to bad track prep then its really poor by the promoters.Give the riders a good track to race on like BV was on Saturday and you will get good racing.
  16. As Fred Flange has pointed out it wouldn't make sense to knowingly use sub standard material and then spend weeks sorting out the track including digging it up and lose a fortune in lost revenue.Surely the council don't expect anyone to believe this?
  17. The zoo? They left the building along time ago!
  18. Just rang BT up to upgrade for all of their sports channels .They offered me it free for 6 months and then 6 quid a month thereafter.Cheaper than sky sports and you get champions league football. I am a BT broadband subscriber and got BT sports lite (BT sports 1) free previously.
  19. Aces 51 I too have BT broadband and watch on the Sky platform like you do.But we only get BT sport 1 for 3.75 a month and it used to be free for BT broadband customers. If they put speedway on BT sport 2 or 3 we will have to upgrade.
  20. They will probably put it on BT sport 2 which you have to pay extra for same as champions league football.Cheaper than sky though.
  21. Read it again and its what you implied. You can spin it anyway you want.Others would profit without putting anything in.
  22. So according to Tsunami other promoters wanted the NSS built so they could get a share of the profits from big events. They just didn't want the risk of taking on the project themselves or running them at there own track.Let's give DG and CM credit for at least trying and getting the stadium built left to other promoters it would never have been built.
  23. Can't believe this is still being discussed, its been done and dusted.Let's hope for some team news soon and whether the south stand is going to be completed.
  24. Why would some clubs not sell British Final tickets? I had no idea this had happened. What reason could possibly justify this.p
