Too true... it went downhill further when the buggers introduced colour on the front in the 70's, but at least it was Ronnie Moore!!! He-he . I actually think this weeks cover with Ace Piper on is excellent, keep the good work up you Speedy Star folks

2024 Premier(shi*) League: * Four teams * Fixed Monday night racing (avoids Polish clashes) * All four teams to race home fixtures that night. Away teams to be made up of Championship double uppers. * Chris Harris to appear at least once for each team. " A, B, C, D, E fixtures ensures a plausible 30 match league structure. * Knock out Cup to give credibility. * Play Offs & Pairs to be retained. Simples

Please don't imply aliases and multi names are used on this forum as this could offend "King-Keir-Brasso-Polish-fan". I would hate his cover to be blown!

Will Ladbroke be sponsoring the Olympique this season?

It's a shame that you are not head of the Parole Board.

Only 100 !!!

CVS is a mind reader having 'Chris Harris' already programmed @ #1 before even King's Lynn 'allegedly' knew about it. I wonder when Harris accepted the booking?
-
Has he had to go home to help find his missing Uncle? Does that now make it another 'Championship' pairing: Poole & Plymouth?
-
25 March 1972. Rode @ #7. Yep. Five ride 15pt max. I'm thinking he had wintered, racing in Rhodesia and came back fit and raring to go! Sadly missed. 'Tiger Tom' Lichfield's Finest.

Wolves are represented by Championship riders from Oxford (Sam Masters) & Poole (Steve Worrall). Ipswich are also using two Championship riders who both ride for Redcar (Eric Riss & Danny King). I suppose calling it Premiership allows the admission to go up a few quid? Sadly at this stage Chris Harris is not programmed. A shameful omission!

How forgiving of Bluster to book Chris Harris as a guest for Artem, especially as he was the rider who "wiped" Artem out in the bone crunching collision at Saddleblow last week. Artem might never ride in an away meeting ever again . Hope he recovers for the next home meeting.

Are King's Lynn operating team manager replacement tonight?
-
It will interesting if Chris Harris's name is already printed in the programme?
-
The way things are going he could be needed by both teams! Can he be a guest team manager for the Stars as well? Sadly the product is not very 'Premier' these days.

You were saying??? -
It's been suggested that Speedway at King's Lynn started to close, and continued to do so everytime the clay content in the track was increased. I've not travelled there post covid, but previous experiences of poor track and the inability to start before 7:50pm combined with a poorly run show was not a positive experience.

I'm sure the majority of Wolves fans were hoping to see Chris Harris guest for Panthers as we haven't seen him for a while! Or is he already fixed up?

Did he reply, "Bloody NORA"

He should have posted it as KeirStarmer(Sir)RacingStalkerFan but forgot which alter ego he is today!

Sheffield v King’s Lynn - 25th May

Had the duct tape been previously used on the King''s Lynn pit gate? -
As a reflection of my speedway viewing, the creation of the British League was the Phoenix rising from the ashes to see so many teams in one league, given the team numbers in the top division that parallel todays woeful times. If I want to watch live speedway tonight I have the choice of NDL at Leicester or nothing! The BL gave me Belle Vue, Halifax, Cradley, Coventry, King's Lynn, Cradley, Swindon, etc. The 'SCB/BSPL' must be so proud that the best they can do for British Speedway is to focus on aborting any green shoots that could help younger riders come through and see a re-growth of the sport. Fixed race nights has become a farce, doubling up, guests, and R/R has killed team identity. Don't worry about this we must focus on repelling Vectis invading our shores!
