Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)
Lefty replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yep, presume admission price goes up to see pretty much the same riders & a change of race night, why bother? -
The shortage of eggs at the pre AGM Wetherspoon Breakfast Bash caused chaos as egg replacement wasn't available. Premiership promoters claimed priority, but were out voted and had to scramble for more bacon. It all made a hash brown of things! The Chairman was blamed for the deal that had given one egg supplier (Hen-ilass) an exclusive supplier agreement.

Is that Cardiff in particular or Speedway in general?
-
Great quote... but stop these riders wearing 'xyz' different 'team' suits in a week!

Simples: Chris Harris guests for Lawson ... unless he's already guesting -
Positive #1: Wolves only tracked six double-uppers in their seven man team! Could've been seven! Positive #2: The Premiership Pairs lasted more rounds than I expected! Positive #3: (to be edited in later, if I think of one!)

I had a chum who was a RAC-ist, Then he became an AA-is. Now he's a GREEN FLAG-ist

Was it a Cradley fan complaining that the PC book had got no drawings in for him to use his 'Dudley Wood Crayoning kit' on?

Was that the Manchester based one?

Fair call. By the way what is the last rule change that actually got more punters clicking through the turnstiles? -
Yep.... so another 'new rule' falls again at the first hurdle. I think the sport needs a new '10 year' plan!

I've ben told that Subbuteo Table Speedway was staged there in the 1950's. There was four local teams, Panthers, Lions, Gorillas & Crocodiles. Hope this helps.

According to Willhelmpedia there was a young Austrian in the 1930's called Aldi Hilter who took on a German licence. He had an accident where he lost a testicle and this curtailed his European activity. He's not been heard of much since his Farewell appearance in Berlin in the mid forties. There are rumours he was spotted in Argentina / Brazil, but his moustache trademark might have gone by then. Hope this helps.

I would welcome Cradley Heath back... but don't tell my mates!
-
When did THAT happen? Is it when Speedway introduced Play-Off''s?
-
Fair credit. They were Dunton'''s Old Farts when I first went to Cowley in the early seventies!

Chunky, It's a shame the link isn't about Phil Collins instead of Dave Collins. You might have been able to drum it into him then!

Was it meant to read: "KEITH FOR PM" ?
-
Googled Keith Forun and got this... The central objective of the Keith Forum on Commonwealth Constitutionalism is to harness the reservoir of comparative ideas from the Commonwealth for current UK constitutional debates; and conversely, to benefit Commonwealth states facing similar challenges, from a closer engagement with constitutional developments in the UK. hope this helps? Or is it a case of: Dyslexia Rules KO

Has it been moved to Leicester?
