  2. I've tried: 1: Bingo rhymes... "Ole the Bee #3"..."#48 fast from the gate". 2: Scrabble values 3: Place in the averages! No joy... could I have the "Lion Wall" instead! The only positive was realising there was at least 100 First Division riders!
  3. The local Express & Star has a more of a CVS report / status. I wonder if any fellow Wolves fans / Supporters Committee etc have any thoughts, plans to fight this as a community loss. I was of the view that Monmore Green had a sporting covenant on it and it was this, that prevented a Ladbroke Casino appearing! Sad times.
  4. This was flagged up in October last year according to the Greyhound press.
  5. Trouble is its Rohan Lindgren and Freddie Tungate!
  6. As Private Eye said "The City Of Screaming Tyres"
  7. Great question. Does 'doubling up' under the same promotion reduce the time period from ten years to five?
  8. Does 660 residences on the site mean high rise towers and parking for ten cars?
  9. That's similar to us Wolves 'baby boomers' who miss Friday home meetings..... but will have now attended more Monday nighters!
  10. Most of the riders 'double up' these days so why shouldn't the Race Director do it as well !!!!
  11. Will NORA allowing ex-referees free admission to the meeting be a good enough sweetener to get this sorted?
  12. As a Wolves fan it hurts me to recall that John Osborne, the West Bromwich goalie was very good at Quiz Ball.
  13. Lancaster "Bombers" Slough "Berks" Epsom "Salts"
  14. Presume it means there might be someone in the crowd who could takeover if the nominated ref fails to make it to the track?
  15. Brilliant: Reminds me of school reports in the old days! I would certainly like to read your 'school reports' on other riders!
  16. And if he could sing "Rockin' Robin" it could save Swindon as well
  17. Eastbourne's 'Cheesy Chips' always went down well... especially after a few beers beforehand at The Cricketers Arms in Berwick. (Sadly missed).
  18. 'Steam Railway' - on annual subscription its £3.90 for each monthly edition. Excellent pictures and articles.
  19. I can't help either, but would welcome knowing which Pub it's in? For some reason Tetbury makes me think of Tig Perry. My mate says the picture can't be recent because the tyres look in good condition. (Sorry)
  20. Great respect to you. The best we got was a few tangles with Sam Messer and his uneducated colleagues on the back straight @ Wudley Dud.
  21. Four 'Speedy Stars' and one Steam Railway' mag arrived today. Now up to date. Postie said the train strike was probably to blame for the delay in the one magazine!
