Priority Over Double Up Riders 2015
Yearbyred replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Typical - punishing teams who ride on Thursday! -
Bit unfair on RR - he is nowhere near as supercilious as Tsunami.
-
Key words here - alleged (no substantiation) and rules (what rules have been broken?) No fan of Havvy Senior but his priorities should be sorting out the Redcar team not Berwicks.
-
Kus in changing his mind shocker! (just posting it in a Berwick Press Release style)
-
Can't fit both Kus and Spud in average wise.
-
Kus back in the Redcar team now apparently.

Redcar V Berwick Pl 10 July 2014
Yearbyred replied to screm's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Was expecting this meeting to be off as the forecast was for rain most of the day - but we have had none at all. Hope they have put more water on the track than in previous weeks - it was like a motorway last week and lead to a very poor meeting with no chance for anyone if they missed the gate. Edit after heat 10 - wish it had rained! Totally out gated and battled, again. Embarrassing. -
Cheers for ther compliment (I had to look up moronic to see what it meant obviously). The rumblings about the Promotion have been going on for a while now - there are people interested in helping the club but the current promotion are pretty set in their ways. Worrying times for the long term future of the club.

Redcar V Edinbrugh (pl) 3/7/14 @ 7.30pm

Deserved win for the Monarchs on a ultra slick track at the STMP tonight. Turned into pretty much a gating competition and there was only going to be one winner when that happened. Still there's always tomorrow night..... -

True - but sadly some of them were from Redcar . Not many posts on the Bears forum either these days. -

Hopefully. Actually you are right with the apathy comment - last weeks meeting against Plymouth didn't have a thread at all. Weather is fine - no issues. -
Berwick Vs Redcar (saturday 21st)
Yearbyred replied to Boobs's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Hardly a can of worms - think you will find most Redcar fans thought the promotion were wrong at postponing so late and a lot of us said so, both on this Forum and our own. -

Redcar V Rye House 19th June - Off

No - 8PM. As others have stated it should have been re-arranged months ago and it's just further confirmation that the club is poorly run. -
Redcar Vs Ipswich 22/5/14
Yearbyred replied to mrmiddlesbrough's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Rohan has quite a lot of experience riding at STMP so it was always likely to be one of his better away performances. STMP is one of the fairest tracks in the country - very few visiting riders seem to struggle here and that doesn't really help the Bears especially with an under performing home team. -

Fully deserved win for a very solid 1 - 7 Witches team. Bears were never really at the races - Konopka had an absolute mare falling off in every race and the usual reliable Jan had his worst meeting of the season. I'd try and convince myself it was an exercise in average lowering but sadly I don't think it was. Still changes are going to have to be made as performances like that at home aren't acceptable. Track was patchy but given the weather that was understandable but it didn't stop a couple of excellent rides and overtakes by Tungate and Heeps in particular. -

But you'd never get a Mackem supporting a Geordie team in a million years. Oh, hang on....... (Apologies to my friend Ian but I couldn't resist) -

I think any Bears fan would have taken a win over our nearest and dearest over qualifying for the semi's of a competition we wouldn't have made further progress in. -

Steve Crams a Mackem though, but apart from that . On a more serious note - never saw this coming at all. Diamonds were obviously weaker at reserve without Schramm and it was Kings first meeting but after the debacle at Somerset I was fearing the worst. Fair play to the lads though they all chipped in - even Skiddy at his least favourite track. -

Bears to score more than they did at Somerset (but probably not many). Edit - Mission accomplished after 10 heats -
Somerset V Redcar (insert Date Please)
Yearbyred replied to coomie's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Would be very surprised if Somerset don't break the 60 point barrier tonight. Edit after 4 races - make that 70 points. Edit after 15 races - moral victory -
Lindgren either doesn't agree or doesn't believe it looking at Twitter.

Hall Not Returning To Redcar
Yearbyred replied to Yearbyred's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think that is definitely the plus point - might have to suffer a few defeats in the short term particularly away (but then Hall wasn't potentially a great scorer away anyway). Also leaves the door open for further changes when Rafa gets his true average?
