I am writing this on behalf of a friend who is getting a bit anxious to know if anyone who has bought tickets for this GP round has received their tickets yet? if so can you please confirm on here! He has been advised last evening that they may arrive as late as five days before the event takes place, which would be upto the 17th July even though they had been bought in 2016 is this correct? Not at all Dave and as I have said before I have no problems with you either, I do remember 2010 team very well as I sponsored Adam McKinna that year as well as did most away meetings all home meetings and got all GRT Media dvds involving us but that was then, and this is now and yeah George and co may of had it running the longest but we have had more dross under him than success IMO and are paying more than ever for the privilege! Value for money I think not!! Steve I have no problem with you either, and yes on both those accounts you are correct however I am talking of riders on track not politicks, but oh yes in my mind they are similar, as was 2008 team oh yeah another with that time hero being George Stancl and later bringing in Kenni Larsen remember Ben Powel? The list is endless.

I am personally sick of this getting churned out everytime anyone including myself questions the running of our club and yes I do acknowledge it may or may NOT happen, however I am getting sick of the current regime within our club season after season and we never get any better, this team is running in parallel with 2004 when we had Jason Lyons and not a lot else, only 2017 sees less changes in the team. All riders have the ability as it proved in heats 14 and 15 with the major under preforming riders on the night so Newspeed IMO ship up or pull out, if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen, and we can find out weather anyone else out there is willing to put in or not, but in recent times a fair few clubs have came back from near the brink so who's to say we wouldn't either?

Well what can I say, I left Brough tonight gutted that Glasgow didn't take all 4 points, I felt ever so one sorry for Robert Lambert who was our only light tonight who for his efforts didn't deserve to lose tonight, and secondly mystified as to how Steve was injured and unable to ride, but it was announced at the track he intends on attempting to ride tomorrow how can that be?

I'm afraid to say sadly I can see a score line of Newcastle 40 Glasgow 50 tonight very likely!

I have said for years now I don't and never have rated George as a manager & IMO should of been disposed of these duties years ago & I believe in many other clubs or sports would have been, we need a proper manager who one is a ex rider so there for knows if and when riders are under preforming, and two who put the fear of god in to riders so they know they are riding for their job or out! On the Connor vs Dan situation I fail to understand why we go back for a rider who is likely to under preform, he did no better than Connor was doing the last time we dropped Dan? I understand Connor must of been well down in confidence who wouldn't not scoring any points meeting after meeting, but IF as I suspect Dan does the same then so will his so we are no further forward. I would of either tried to increase our strength in the main body, or persevered with Connor and for example Steve Worrall should of worked with him to try and get to the bottom of whatever the problems were as he'd been there in that same position not to long ago and has turned it around since then spectacularly!

After reading on the BSPA website about Josh Auty quitting speedway with immediate effect who will guest for them or will it be RR if he's deemed withholding his services?

I think it will be a very close encounter, however I predict a score line of Redcar 44 - Newcastle 46 with us getting three more league points! I should be there tomorrow night however I am in no way going to the Micky Mouse meeting at Brough on Sunday as individual meetings don't interest me, & I think its crazy we are not running the following weekend, but two weeks off to be had for me.

Well good luck to all OUR riders over Sunday & Monday sadly though I will not be attending either day, Sunday because I've been the last few years and had to turn around and come home including in 2016 as the entrance to the stadium is not open & I can't access through the pits, and Monday as I have other commitments GRR!

For me I'd swap those two around more strength in heat 12 for our last opportunity of TR!

IMO quite simple all meetings like this are a drain on resources, money, dates which domestic clubs lose out on and for what? domestic should for me be given priority over once a season screw balls!

So once again communications between all participants before the fixtures were to be released seem to of been none existent? This happens every year and it never seems to be rectified for the following season, PERTHETTIC! Please note this is directed at the sport as a whole not just us.
