Luke Becker perhaps?

Thankfully, despite the overcast weather, a decent sized crowd witnessed a really enjoyable meeting with good quality racing in most heats. Really puzzled how Tigers have been so poor at home recently, as they never allowed the Monarchs to totally dominate proceedings. Both James Shanes & Kasper Andersen were excellent and as it was their first ever visit to the Dale, disproved the bunk that this is a trick track that takes ages to master. Shanes was a joy to watch with his ability to change lines and exploit any slight gaps that those in front of him offered. When interviewed, he impressed with his replies and said he enjoyed riding the circuit. For such a tall lad, Kasper Andersen, after his first ride, really looked at home, and few riders manage to beat both Ricky Wells & Erik Riss on their first ever appearance at the Dale. Had Charles Wright & Connor Mountain been available for the Tigers and also Howarth reproduced his recent double figure scores here, then the result would have been much closer and could have gone either way. For Monarchs, Richie Worrall scored an impeccable 15 pt max and that's three home meetings in a row that he has been unbeaten by a visiting opponent, so many thanks to Glasgow for making this possible William Lawson showed some signs of his previous class performances and as his fitness and hopefully his machinery improves, Monarchs might resolve the problem area of having two effective reserves.

Harris not necessarily lying, Lawson might well have said he would have ridden, although he might not have wanted to. Agree riders are now more reluctant to ride in adverse conditions, but imo this is because today's machines are faster than before and are more difficult to control on less than perfect track surfaces.

I don't think such a change to revert to your own double-up riders due to the other fixture being cancelled on match day is permitted, once their replacement guest have been declared on match day. Can you provided details of the precedent you refer to?

Teams as per Official Edinburgh website:- STAGGS BAR MONARCHS: Ricky Wells, Victor Palovaara, Josh Pickering, Richie Worrall, Erik Riss (captain), William Lawson, Joel Andersson. WINDOW CENTRE TIGERS: Mason Campton (Guest),Todd Kurtz, Kasper Andersen, Broc Nicol, Ky;e Howarth (captain), James Shanes, Joe Lawlor (guest) Apart from expected changes, Tigers newcomer, Connor Mountain is part of the GB team heading to Denmark for the World U-21 Team Cup Final, and Joe Lawlor now deputises. Hopefully we have better luck with the weather this week.

That's my reservation, as imo Father Lawson's dominance in his son's senior career, prevented Willie making a serious go of what could have been an impressive journey to a higher level. Well Clegg has previous on where his priorities lie, when for the last match at home for 2016, he left us further short handed against Glasgow, as he opted for the Wolves end of season function, instead of riding for us

Teams as per Official website:- STAGGS BAR MONARCHS: Ricky Wells, Victor Palovaara, Josh Pickering, Richie Worrall, Erik Riss (captain), Max Clegg, Joel Andersson. KLS BANDITS: Kevin Doolan (captain), Aaron Summers, Dany Gappmaier, David Howe, Jye Etheridge, Theo Pijper, Nikolai Busk Jakobsen Expect this to be closer than the previous two home matches, with the Bandits reserves looking a potent pairing. Berwick appear to have given Glasgow a stern test at Ashfield recently and now look well nigh invincible at Shielfield Park where getting your nose in front coming off the second bend is paramount. Weather permitting, can foresee home victories on Friday & Saturday.

Belle Vue v King's Lynn 06/08/18
cyclone replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
When redeclaring a team ,changes must be made at least 72 hours before the start Time of the Meeting at which it is intended to be used. Assume KL had notified those concerned of replacing Jason Garrity with Erik Riss, on or before Friday, and were just awaiting formal approval before making it public. -
Teams as per Official Edinburgh website:- STAGGS BAR MONARCHS: Ricky Wells, Victor Palovaara, Josh Pickering, Richie Worrall, Erik Riss (captain), Max Clegg, Joel Andersson. HENDERSON'S SCORPIONS: Steve Worrall (captain), rider replacement for Stefan Nielsen, Jason Garrity, Jake Allen, Josh Auty, Danny Phillips, Gino Manzares This week Monarchs welcome the Management Committee's favourite team as the visitors Joking apart, it's never dull when a pair of thrill makers in Garrity & Auty, appear here. Add in the battle of the Worrall twins, and we should hopefully have another exciting encounter at the Dale tomorrow.

Agree there was some exciting racing tonight and the inclusion of Richie Worrall (resplendent in blue & yellow kevlars, btw) has certainly made us appear to be a more solid unit. Congratulations to Josh Pickering on his maiden paid maximum in the Championship, which he achieved in his spectacular all action style. OK Redcar were virtually a 3 man team in Jorgensen, Barker & Jonas B Andersen, and far tougher tests home & away, have still to be raced, before we will have an indication of whether the Monarchs will be in the mix for Play-Offs & the KO cup. Saw a couple of Redcar fans supporting their team tonight and having endured similar humiliations of ourselves under the Tom Cook era, I appreciate this is a time when dedicated fans must rally round their club to ensure its continuation.

How do you know that you "just say what most people think"? - you should make more use of your alleged power to read other people's minds Still to give an honest direct answer to the original question I asked, instead you continue to resort to more insults BTW I was giving you the benefit of the doubt by comparing you to a troglodyte, but I have to agree with you, that in your case, a lower form species living under a rock is a more appropriate description
-
You appear unaware that your third statement contradicts the opening line So what is the source of your assertion that "Team spirit was poor mostly down to Richie at the time" ? As it is you that is publicly stating this, please tell us all who informed you - was it directly from another rider, or a member of the Promotion, or just more unsubstantiated hearsay?

Teams as per Official Edinburgh website:- STAGGS BAR MONARCHS: Ricky Wells, Victor Palovaara, Josh Pickering, Richie Worrall, Erik Riss (captain), Max Clegg, Joel Andersson. ECCO BEARS: Ben Barker (captain), Tobias Busch, Dimitri Bergé, Jonas B Andersen, Thomas Jorgensen, Mikkel B Andersen, Jordan Stewart. First outing of new Edinburgh lineup, and at present, both teams will be at full strength. Would expect Monarchs to win as Busch & Berge have struggled at the Dale in the past. Be interesting to see if Max Clegg can replicate his previous Armadale form, as this Season he was poor in the Premier riding for Rye House and not too impressive for Stoke in the NL also.

If you missed it, it is now available on BBC i-player to view or download. Well done to those taking part - very few teams lower the Eggheads colours
-
Yet rode two days later in the Budesliga for Straslund & scored 11 ( 1,3,2,3,2), so where & when he did become further incapacitated?
-
Lidsey would not meet Visa requirements for this Season also.

Nathan Greaves Final 2017 Championship GSA for Ipswich was 4.51 According to Premier GSA for 4/6/18 his GSA for Wolves was 2.99 and his Championship GSA on 7/6/18 when joining Redcar, was 3.89 (The 4.37 figure you refer to, takes account of the Championship meetings he rode for Redcar, until his release & probably reverts to a rolling Championship match average, and is the average he joins Glasgow on) Now Premier 2.99 x 1.3 = Championship 3.89 Don't know where you got your 2017 figure from, but those I refer to were taken from the SGB website, and confirm that the 2018 Premier GSA is converted by x 1.3 (subject to a 3.00 min in certain cases) for those rejoining the Championship from the Premiership during the 2018 Season. As Clegg's Rye House GSA was 2.00, he would rejoin the Championship on a GSA no greater than 3.00
-
As did Aaron Summers on his Rye House average of 5.21 when signed by Somerset. This appears on the latest Premier Green Sheets, which also includes the current GSAs for Rye House, with Clegg listed as 2.00 which, using the 1.3 conversion, would be 2.60. Over to you mac101

Jack Smith? edit 3.07 so he is oot also

Does it really matter if he appears in a red & white Tigers racesuit, given that he would be wearing a Monarchs race jacket over them? Well when he had his brilliant guest performance for us when we won at Scunny late last Season, he was wearing yellow & green kevlars. Wonder what happened to them BTW does anyone know when the signing deadline for team changes is (mid July?) as I am wondering if there is sufficient time for any released riders to be signed on by another club?
-
Teams as per Official Edinburgh website:- STAGGS BAR MONARCHS: Ricky Wells, Victor Palovaara, Mark Riss, Josh Pickering, Erik Riss (captain), Max Ruml, Joel Andersson. TRU PLANT WITCHES: Rory Schlein, rider replacement for Cameron Heeps, Nico Covatti, Matthew Wethers, Richie Worrall, Connor Mountain, Danyon Hume. IMO Ippo will be strengthened by having Armadale specialists Richie Worrall for King, Matthew Wethers for Danish newcomer Jonas Jeppesen, whilst r/r for Cameron Heeps will allow Covatti & Wethers to take 2 of his scheduled rides. Also with 2018 Scottish Open Champion, Rory Schlein leading the Witches, the visitors will fancy their chances of taking the points. It could be decided by how well both sets of reserves perform and whether Mark Riss can recapture his earlier home form (without falling off of course!)

Can you, or anyone provide the reference number in the SCB Regulations to the alleged "no gp rider rule" in the Championship, or is this another BSF myth that the ill-informed are getting hot under the collar on? Regarding Glasgow requiring permission from Edinburgh to sign Craig, I believe that when a loan agreement is already in place with another club, it is that Promotion (i.e. Belle Vue) that Tigers will be dealing with and Monarchs will not be involved. The Glasgow press release did state "The changes are subject to BSPA management committee approval." which other clubs have used in the past in such situations, so allegations of being presumptuous are unfounded. FWIW I believe the majority of Edinburgh fans have no problem with Cookie being able to supplement his earnings by joining Glasgow. After all we were able to loan Palovaara from Glasgow and John Campbell thanked Tigers for their cooperation in his column in a recent programme.
