  1. Paramedic taken ill and there's no doctors available closer than Kelso. Sounds dodgy to me
  2. I find it ironic that the same people who used to defend Ryan Fishers antics are berating Jason Garrity. I've seen loads of punch ups between riders at speedway. Big deal. Sneddons no saint. Get o'er yesels.
  3. Perhaps he was just a little upset after being taken out by Sneddon?
  4. Haven't read one comment from a Monarchs fan complaining of boredom. Yes I do remember some people moaning about our home dominance and that it was boring. Be careful what you wish for.
  5. If you're happy watching your team struggle at home every week, then good luck to you. I'm not. Nothing wrong with a good old moan to get it out of your system. Almost every side used to hate coming to Hoddesdon. Most we're beaten before a wheel was turned. Now they come expecting to leave with something apart from dusty kevlars.
  6. Very seldom did he impress, due to his shocking gating. My abiding memory of Kasper is seeing him score paid 7 at Plymouth as a Berwick guest, then going back seven days later to see him score 1 for us. Very frustrating.
  7. He had a season and a half here and didn't know. What makes you think he can now?
  8. As it happens I couldn't go anyway, can't get the weekend off due to high sick leave levels at work. Have been known to come down with a mystery illness in the past just before a Northern tour, but they've sussed me out now
  9. Would've been worth it had Redcar not postponed Thursdays meeting. Old Northern tours were better. Edinburgh, Berwick, Glasgow
  10. Having the pi$$ ripped out of us before a wheel is turned. Only real die hards, or those who are mentally ill will bother to travel up. I won't be one of em
  11. Unfortunate to be victims of the weather home and away when this tie should've taken place. The line ups would've looked very different and I'd stick my neck out to say we'd have comfortably progressed into the next round where we would now be discussing our anialation at Newcastle.
  12. Not the guys fault he's nowhere near PL class. Choices severely limited due to the NL Pairs at Mildenhall I suspect. The real reason we're out is due to Tres's absence.
  13. Doesn't matter if I disagree or not. It ain't gonna happen, especially in his testimonial year.
  14. City Rebel, I may be daft, but I ain't stupid! Not surprised and only mildly disappointed. Season is over in early June. If Silver mentions a surge for the play offs in gonna scream!! Massive gamble on this team has failed big time, now watch crowd levels plummet.
  15. Fair play to you, that's a pig of a journey. Did it for a rain off a couple of years ago. Always a good idea to visit these tracks that always seem to be on the verge of closing. The journey over to the back straight is always a challenge over the crumbling concrete terracing. Nice spicy curry sauce in the Italian chippy opposite, or an Indian chicken kebab from the other shop a few doors away.
  16. Are you serious? Bloody hell, don't tell me you made the journey up there? His PL average must be the same or lower than Dimitri Berge. How is beyond me!
  17. This meeting was yesterday. Just how much did you have to drink last night?
  18. The team have asked for more grip, but the promoter insists on doing it his way. Overheard a couple of members of the track staff after tonight's meeting, deep in conversation about the track prep. Didn't catch all of what they said, but the jist of it seemed to be how THEY Would do it. Len Silver is someone who divides opinion. Sure, it's his team, his stadium, his money, but he's not always right.
