  1. It saves the promotion paying out points money for the last couple of heats
  2. Haggis in batter and chips would be my choice
  3. An interval when it's raining? Can someone explain please
  4. I predict the Rockets won't total much more than 100 points over the three weekend meetings
  5. 80% chance of heavy rain around 6pm tomorrow according to the Met Office
  6. I popped out to the car park after the PL match and saw quite a few people heading home. I s'pose the prospect of an NL meeting after a 2 and a half first half was too much to take.
  7. Arsenal include 7 cup ties in their season tickets. FA Cup and Europe only. League Cup is extra as they usually put out inexperienced sides and charge a lot less
  8. Not sure if he's still at it, but I did hear he'd taken up boxing
  9. Boxall on good equipment is a 7-8 point man.
  10. August 2014 http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/13709/somerset-rye-house-pl-30pm
  11. He supposedly turned up to a Rye press & practice day with his bike still dirty from the previous season. I think the meeting you mentioned was the one I was at. The tractors grading the track were quicker than that bike
  12. To be fair, a fit and motivated Steve Boxall is a pretty decent rider. Trouble is he's had numerous chances at various clubs and always lets you down in the end.
  13. Would equate to a 8.88 average (if it's x 0.6 EL to PL) and Lakeside already have 2 double uppers
  14. Most riders new to British speedway are a gamble. Peter Karger on a 5 point average. Now that's a gamble and one that's gone spectacularly t*ts up
  15. I never claimed that. I have no idea how many clubs were interested, or if BWD was interested in going there. Do you?Having seen him in the NL a few times I was convinced he'd attain his average at least
  16. I said some good points. Hard to disagree that the stadium has had virtually nothing done to it for months, Kasper throwing points away with his terrible reactions at the tapes, Robbo throwing away a point in heat 13 (maybe machinery issues). The iffy track on Sunday when it's generally been good all year. I also agree with Chris that we're up for some serious beatings over the coming weekend. That's not me being pessimistic, that's being realistic.
