Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Shadders replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Fair doesn't come into it. Scunthorpe Speedway is dying on it's arse. They'll do anything to strengthen and keep what dwindling support they have left -

Unless the rules change and he fancies the NL you won't see Karger again -
Harvie Banks unwell. RR for him.

According to someone on Scunny thread, Hollubs 7 point average wasn't an assessed average

4 ride max, then wrecked his bike

Isn't it time there was an independent body running the sport. You can't have promoters of other teams deciding the future of another club, it's madness. As a compromise, why not allow the signing of Cook, but use a 3 point guest when he's double booked for Belle Vue
-
Branford definitely has something about him. Fire in his belly and never say die attitude. That's what people like to see. I can see a bit of Garrity in him when he first came to Rye and could be bothered. Shame the promoters dumped Rob when Robert Lambert upped his demands. Was great watching Rob & Ben team riding on Sunday

Raiders V Stoke Mon 2nd May After Premier At 2pm Approx 4-4.30

Put it this way. If his name wasn't Karger we would never have heard of him. From all reports he's a really nice bloke, but unfortunately not up to the standard required. As a fan who pays through the gate I expect the best side the promotion can afford to put out there within budget. Sentiment doesn't come into it. -

If you saw Peter Kargers scores in Denmark it was obvious he wasn't top notch. Would've been better to get him over for a few days for a try out to see how he looked. Maybe time constraints due to Klindt quitting forced the promotions hand, but whoever sanctioned that signing needs to have a word with themselves. Puts extra undue pressure on Ben Morley and will undoubtedly lose us meetings we should be winning. I can't see any improvement in Peter unfortunately. -
Love him or hate him he's someone everyone would want in their side. Anyone who says different is deluded.

You could beat Karger

For Plymouth, Stuart Robson 10+1 for Rye there a few weeks ago. Worth a go

But there again Etheridge doesn't have to fly in every week

Took one in the nads

I didn't realise you were part of the promotion.

He can't be earning much with his points return.

Yes, the promoters are well off and have spent a shed load on Glasgow Speedway, but that doesn't mean they want to make a loss. Pretty sure they've worked their figures out very carefully.

Which team could afford him....

Is there an off season in your fishing world?

The 2005 Western tour to Newport & Exeter is probably my favourite. A massive win at Exeter, a track we'd always struggled on, all but gave us the title

Northern tours have always been the highlight of my speedway season. Edinburgh/Berwick/Newcastle or Glasgow. The 2005 title winning season was a great weekend.
