  1. Not sure if any of your riders , on a rider for rider basis would make the Poole team.
  2. Good meeting for both our teenagers. Hard to predict who will be the better of the two, but both should have very bright futures. Strange decision of Coops to take gate 3 in Final, was Havvy there?!! Flint gated from 1 so if Coops had taken 1, he may well have been on the rostrum. Let's hope he can take that form when riding for Poole. We still look a very hard team to beat in the Championship. At the end of the day Lambert was a different class. IMO, our only league defeats this season have been to poor tactics, dubious ref decisions & engine failures.
  3. I think he is guesting for Kyle on Friday at Edinburgh on Friday
  4. Why not? He's having bad season at Ipswich but would like to see him back at Poole in 2027 as Cook & Lawson may not be there. Brennan & King would be good or perhaps Pickering & Douglas. Any other suggestions for top 2?
  5. Yes he is only 16 and extremely competitive but there are occasions when he needs to calm down and be aware of the points, e.g. Heat 15 when Hagon was leading.
  6. What about Heat 10 RR? Completely wrong bearing in mind Heat 12 line up!
  7. Not sour grapes but Havvy no idea in Heats10 & 14 , cost us the meeting.
  8. He reported on own blog he has back problems (vetebra) and not riding until he is diagnosed
  9. It was only suggested he might be a good signing IF Riss returns to Oxford.
  10. 3rd !!! May know after Scunny meeting
  11. May be a good signing, likely to stay at reserve. Fit from grasstrack and been going well. Used to like Poole track. £rd in British Final at Poole in about 2009
  12. Poor racing track-very slick, no grip, gate & go, virtually no passing& very boring to watch, waste of £13.99. Poole underperformed,There may well have been reasons but IMO: Lawson-disapointing, Newman-poor, Kerr-average, Bowes-poor, Cook-Ok, Cairns disapointing but only 16, Rushen-OK 12 points should make 2nd leg interesting but generally Poole excel at Poole
  13. Not sure the reason for swapping riding positions of Cook & Kerr?
  14. Clearly, Lawson is still suffering from the crash with Tobias on Good Friday. I think last night was his lowest score since joining the Pirates. Pickering will probably end up top rider in this league but opposition from Masters, Lawson, Harris & Dan Thompson
  15. Complete farce, don't care about keeping fans updated. No wonder it's a dying sport in this country. Odd though that Scunthorpe, Plymouth and Poole have made major signings, so they must know something
  16. But he was generally a strong rider in heat 14, Kerr was too inconsistent to ride at 5. Rowe was good early to mid-season but injury to groin hindered him for latter part of season.
  17. Difficult call. Possibly Thompson & Flint below expectations but this certainly applied to Rowe and Kerr at Poole. Will be an interesting return leg, particularly if Nagel absent.
  18. Agreed. Let's hope they perform better at Glasgow. As for Sept 7th, no doubt Glasgow will want a rain off which must be a possibility for Scotland.
