No, as it turns out you are right. The wrong averages were shown on issue 8 dd. 24th May, which is what I looked at, but subsequently amended the following day.

tocha replied to IainB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Meeting off due to poor weather forecast as is the Steelers fixture which was due to follow. -
Actually, they didn't have much choice last Thursday having six of the seven clubs in action. They could face the same challenge on 2nd and 5th June v King's Lynn unless Jason is back by then.

Incorrect. June averages now published. Jason 9.10, Emil 9.07.

That would make it a 9.30pm start. Seems a bit late. -
He has, but under a Warsaw Contract for Ostrow in the Ekstraliga 2 which, as far as i can make out means he is attached but not under official contract. What happens if there are fixture clashes I don't know.

In addition, this has been produced in the past. The link relates to 2024 but I expect a new version will come out once fixture lists for 2025 have been established: https://www.fim-moto.com/fileadmin/user_upload/Documents/2024/2024_Speedway_Leagues_calendar_-_07.06.2024.pdf?t=1723781042

This one is not so much where are they now but 'what they did next.' I have been clearing out my elderly cousin's house recently and came across a George Medal which was awarded to his grandfather during WW2. There is a list of recipients on a Wikipedia page. As it turned out, he isn't on there, but I found the name of a Lionel Van Praag (World Champion 1936) who won the medal whist serving in the Australian Air Force around the same time: On 26 January 1942 Van Praag was the co-pilot of a Douglas DC-2 which was attacked by two Japanese fighters and forced down into the Sumba Strait, Indonesia. The aircraft soon sank, leaving Van Praag, his pilot Flying Officer Noel Wilson Webster, and two other crewmen in open water. Webster gave his life-jacket to a crewman who could not swim, while the other was semi-conscious, having been injured in the crash. Webster and Van Praag managed to drag them safely to shore, but were in the water for thirty hours, during which time they beat off several attacks by sharks.[168]

I came across this news item on BBC Essex the other day: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy430qpez81o Is this the same person who rode for Sheffield in the 70's? Apart from the surname missing an 's' - could be a typo -he resembles him. He would be 78 now.

Now that Michelsen's season is over, Holder just needs 4 points to get into the top six. Kubera needs to reach the final. -
Bjarne Pedersen on 22nd July 2005 when riding for Poole at Lakeside (then Arena Essex). He scored 22 +1 from seven outings, one as a golden double in which he finished second behind team mate Matej Ferjan.
