Lincolnshire is a hell of long county. Could be near Boston or way up north in Scunthorpe.

I don't know what the originator of this thread had in mind, is it the 40.5 points limit for 2016 or the 34 set in 2015? If it is the former, then that set in the 1 -5 for 2016 is lower than that in 2015 for seven of the current eight clubs, the exception being King's Lynn. In other words, if the reserves' combined averages exceed 6.5, clubs will have had to build lower than that set in 2015. So far five (possibly six once Lakeside decide which is the 1 -5 next season) are close to the limit with just King's Lynn and Leicester falling short, the former caught out by the late withdrawal of NKI and the latter having dug in their heels opting for an alternative race-night.

Like the song 'It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas,' we're no further forward now than we were six weeks ago.
-
I thought we had a squad anyway but it seems we don't yet after all. It is beginning to look as our 1 -7 includes Swiderski and either Lawson, Nilsson or Kennett. Ed is set to miss the most meetings so, perhaps, he is the one to give way, which would be a shame bearing in mind how good he was at home in 2015. Still, we wait to see what happens next. Stay tuned.

Could be Wally Batty, Chris. They already appear to have Foggy Dewhurst as team manager. I guess you're saying that he is not on the button then.
-
.. and that will be the only fans forum as the decision has been taken to close the Lakeside Fans Forum website as from today.

2016 Polish Extraleague fixture list: http://www.speedwayexplorer.com/2016-speedway-ekstraliga-fixtures-calendar/

I'm not doubting you about the closures but, being away from the sport from 1980 to the mid-nineties, I would be interested to which clubs you are referring. Terry Russell and Ivor Henry spent a year at Hackney before the stadium owners went into liquidation and, later RR almost closed Arena Essex before Stuart Douglas saved the day in 2007. Where else though?

Batchelor Boy is the least of your worries. You need to fill two of the shadows in the side, all four if you are going for a squad.

He may miss the home fixture against Belle Vue 3rd June. I cannot see any other clashes involving Rybnik. Full calendar: http://www.speedwayexplorer.com/2016-speedway-ekstraliga-fixtures-calendar/ Are you suggesting Leicester are being deprived of Lewis Bridger or Piotr Swiderski, Bjarne Pedersen even lol.
-
He won't be eligible for the same reason as Peterborough were prevented from signing Jacob Thorssell. Both have EL averages in excess of six and neither have an existing PL average.

Squad?

Still, better being a civil engineer than an uncivil engineer. Plenty of those on the forums!

Careful Wibble. You might get a visit from Officer Dibble. We could have saved ourselves sixteen pages of this thread and Jon Cook behaving like a bit of a chump if the BSPA hadn't made public the existence of the dreaded list. It could have been dealt with internally at the AGM and the rest of us would have been none the wiser.

It may have already been announced on this thread, but will Glasgow continue to race on Sundays in 2016? I believe there was talk of switching to Fridays.

I am a customer of Barclays Bank where I deposit fairly substantial sums of money but it doesn't allow me access to the inner dealings at Head Office, why should it? As for Bradley Wilson-Dean, the 2016 rule book has yet to be published. Was your chat to this promotion as reasonable a you suggest or were you trying to prise out more information that they were reasonably able to give?

Although Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers released numerous singles and albums they did not record 'Free Fallin.' That was another American group with a similar name but fronted by Tom Petty and co-written with Jeff Lynne (ELO).

I am sure Jon will reflect upon his final paragraph. Everyone says something they regret in the heat of battle and I wouldn't be surprised if some form of apology appears in next week's Star. Who can forget these two gaffs:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTr8IVWBuPE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMSzIG4a5cw

That's on 20th June 2016 then. In your dreams. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Bottom

Looking forward to seeing Craig Cook at Lakeside. As far as I know, he's never ridden at the Arena-Essex Raceway before.

I have just looked at the forum conditions and this an extract: "You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “speedway-forum.co.uk” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification to your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid enforcing these conditions. You agree that “speedway-forum.co.uk” has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit." As for this thread, although Jon Cook was unwise in having his final words put into print, for a start he didn't accuse supporters of being biased or thick. He didn't even suggest everyone should agree with the promoter's decision process but directed his thoughts at those who doubted that it took place.

Jack Kingston has signed for Cradley.

Nobody who rode year last season but one of the Pawlicki brothers could be tempted I suppose.

The Glasgow website/fixtures section states first match 27th March which is a Sunday so suggests they won't be using Fridays.
