  1. Careful Wibble. You might get a visit from Officer Dibble. We could have saved ourselves sixteen pages of this thread and Jon Cook behaving like a bit of a chump if the BSPA hadn't made public the existence of the dreaded list. It could have been dealt with internally at the AGM and the rest of us would have been none the wiser.
  2. It may have already been announced on this thread, but will Glasgow continue to race on Sundays in 2016? I believe there was talk of switching to Fridays.
  3. I am a customer of Barclays Bank where I deposit fairly substantial sums of money but it doesn't allow me access to the inner dealings at Head Office, why should it? As for Bradley Wilson-Dean, the 2016 rule book has yet to be published. Was your chat to this promotion as reasonable a you suggest or were you trying to prise out more information that they were reasonably able to give?
  4. Although Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers released numerous singles and albums they did not record 'Free Fallin.' That was another American group with a similar name but fronted by Tom Petty and co-written with Jeff Lynne (ELO).
  5. I am sure Jon will reflect upon his final paragraph. Everyone says something they regret in the heat of battle and I wouldn't be surprised if some form of apology appears in next week's Star. Who can forget these two gaffs:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTr8IVWBuPE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMSzIG4a5cw
  6. That's on 20th June 2016 then. In your dreams. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Bottom
  7. Looking forward to seeing Craig Cook at Lakeside. As far as I know, he's never ridden at the Arena-Essex Raceway before.
  8. I have just looked at the forum conditions and this an extract: "You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “speedway-forum.co.uk” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification to your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid enforcing these conditions. You agree that “speedway-forum.co.uk” has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit." As for this thread, although Jon Cook was unwise in having his final words put into print, for a start he didn't accuse supporters of being biased or thick. He didn't even suggest everyone should agree with the promoter's decision process but directed his thoughts at those who doubted that it took place.
  9. Jack Kingston has signed for Cradley.
  10. Nobody who rode year last season but one of the Pawlicki brothers could be tempted I suppose.
  11. The Glasgow website/fixtures section states first match 27th March which is a Sunday so suggests they won't be using Fridays.
  12. You've given the game away already, but Paul is Andy's brother and both rode for Coventry during their racing careers.
  13. Correct but clearly you cannot use RR for two absent riders.
  14. Can you remind me what that was about. It seems a long time ago, 2007?
  15. Quite right. Should have gone to Specsavers.
  16. It appears you can add Nicki Pedersen and Antonio Lindback as 2nd strings as well.
  17. Wolves have already completed their side. Does Nicki Pedersen still live in Stevenage?
  18. I still do not know why King's Lynn have changed their race-night. Was this after NKI's announcement so have they approached another Dane who last rode here in 2012 for Peterborough and said he would consider an offer if you changed to Thursday because "ya know I can still ride in all the Danish meetings I want ya know and sometimes give me a day's break between Sweden and the UK ya know." Finished with an average of 8.61, so if they want to retain Rory and Kenneth they wouldn't have been able to include Lewis Kerr as well. Replacement EDR Ashley Morris?
  19. I am sure Jon Cook will play fair with this situation and work towards minimising this just as he did in 2014 in allowing Ipswich to use Adam Ellis from time to time when fixtures clashed. After all it is in both clubs' interest and, not least Lewis himself, that he secures as much track time and earnings as possible. Of course, if Ipswich wish to guarantee protecting their interest the best way forward is to purchase his contract, something not lost on Louis' I imagine.
  20. Got this info from another member from the Lakeside Forum who is usually quite reliable. He must have dreamed this one though!
  21. He stays put as Kerr will replace Bates at Coventry. As far as I can see, the Bees have two tier one riders at reserve now. All this has stemmed by King's Lynn moving their race night to Thursday it appears. Perhaps this is the first step in Buster's plan for a single EL race night and eventually they will all be riding on a Thursday. Whatever, Bates cannot replace him at Lynn as he has already signed for Sheffield and, for that matter cannot replace Sarjeant for obvious reasons.
  22. Neil Vatcher stands down as team manager to concentrate on youth speedway development: http://www.lakesidehammers.co/10779/
  23. No problem. He'll have Klindt this season to teach him the art of rolling starts.
