Every other FTR in the league already named so think it’s fair to say we’ll be re-signing Tom Brennan so why not announce that as well??? Do they think they r keeping us in suspense by holding his name back?!???!

Allen + 2 if as we suspect we are getting Fricke, Kurtz, Wright & Brennan Given the strength of Sheffield we need to pull a rabbit out of a hat I think

Would love to see Jake Allen at rsv for us, always liked him as a rider. How many points would that leave for the last 2 if true??

Heard Tungate isn’t keen on doing the UK, same goes for Bjerre sadly. With both Worrall’s gone, struggling to think of who we might get to fill in the gaps?? Think we know Max, Kurtz, Wright and Brennan but got no idea on the other 3?????

Bewley signing now announced by Smederna so that’s the end of him at Belle Vue for now. Gutting for all BV fans after watching him progress from the Colts reserve to the Aces No1 in 5 seasons. Presumably paves the way to a Fricke return for 2022

Went up to this meeting as my mate’s lad was riding in the 2nd half and gotta say Josh Pickering was sensational tonight, topped off by an unreal ride in heat 15. Was in the pits and thought he was coming to join us for a split second!!! Some fantastic racing all night, a great advert for the sport

We bring them back every year cos they r cheap!!!! Can’t be any other reason cos they both crap at the NSS - if they can’t find a set up now after all these years then it’s time to let both go and move on. Mind u, they will probably be our top 2 next year when Dan gives the UK a miss!!!!!!!

Worst I’ve seen him ride in a long time. More timid than when he first came back after his big smash tonight for some reason?? Reminds me of Cooky when he was in the GP’s, constantly shutting off and putting his foot down before going into the corners. Gutted for him as he will finish 6th now, just one spot outside the qualifiers but hopefully done enough to get a pick for next season as been on rostrum in 2 from the 4 meetings. Really odd performance tonight and no real explanation for it?? Wroclaw not riding now until 25th of July????

Worst meeting I can remember at the NSS, heat 15 apart. An absolute snoozefest with the track seemingly having no grip at all. Wonder if it has anything to do with the new tyres that all the riders seem to hate?? If it is then hopefully it’s rectified asap cos that really was beyond poor tonight. Still, good win for the Aces though.

I can’t remember if I felt like that when I saw the race at the World Final (was a long time ago!!) but when I was told about the “fixing” it was just something that I couldn’t get out of my head. When watching the meeting back, there was a huge heavy dirt line on the outside that both Gundo & Hans used earlier in the meeting to make great passes and that was the place to be. Look at the 2 stills here. In the first one, King is right on that line and Gundo is trapped in 3rd. In the 2nd still, King has moved way off that line and is side by side with Moran, leaving the big grip line to Gundo behind. As I said before, no idea if the allegation is true but IMO I feel this supports it.

Very interesting that this has been brought up as never heard anyone say it in public before but never been able to get it out of my head that it was fixed. This was because at the time me & my Mum stood at Halifax with a guy quite well connected in Speedway and at the evening meeting against Belle Vue he told us that he was in the pits at Odsal and that Gundo had paid off Moran & King for that race. I was only 12 at the time but it’s just one of those things that I remember like it was yesterday and that has always stuck in my mind. Absolutely no idea if it’s true or not but every time I see the race or see someone praising Gundo, I always think back to what I was told!!!!! Very interesting

Has anyone actually seen Richie round the NSS, he’s absolutely terrible. Never has any speed at all and we got rid of him for that reason, same as we did with Nicholls as he couldn’t get to grips with the track either. Would be a shocking signing

Would guess the 2 mystery GP’s will be Krsko & Latvia?? Pretty sure Krsko has been first one of the season before?? Wonder if they will try Riga again or just settle for Daugavpils??

All those wet nights at Belle Vue and the likes of Workington are paying off for him big time!!!! Using Tai’s engines must help also!!!!!

Bewley too soft - will never make it. And that’s coming from a big Aces fan. Bottled it there and got bullied out of it after a good start. Can’t be doing that in an Ekstraliga semi final.

Terrible track and very dull GP so far. Cant believe they overlooked Bydgoszcz to have 2 here and the even bigger dump of Prague!! Shocking decision

I’m afraid if it isn’t any 3 of Michelsen, Laguta, Zagar or Fricke then it’s an absolute disaster. And after heat 1 that’s looking very unlikely!!!

What a ride from Buzz, still one of the most spectacular riders to watch. Would love him at Belle Vue, worth the admission alone to watch him when he’s in the mood like tonight.
