  1. They could have worded it like that, makes it sound like there's still an investigation ongoing
  2. What does "and also already being under investigation due to the fixture being postponed in May 2023" mean?
  3. But Tolley had 7 to "choose" from. You're right of course (just waiting for @LagutaRacingFan to pipe up )
  4. It's all they're going to get though, it was clear when they announced their "top 2" at the start of the season that the management were either poor judges of riders or were working to a budget and trying to pull the wool over the fans eyes. Their fate was sealed with those 2 signings with the only doubt being whether they could see the season out.
  5. Milik has been a disaster at No 1 and not much better at reserve, currently averaging 4.11 from 9 matches and his average was only going 1 way. Sedgeman 5.60 from 26 matches last year... of course he's a better replacement
  6. We've had quite a few Poles return to Britain this year and quite frankly they've added nothing!
  7. Great news, should add a few on the attendance, especially from Sheffield to support 2 Tigers legends
  8. They need to get themselves over here to learn their trade instead of setting their sights on a Polish U24 team spot
  9. You'll just be fobbed off with a standard statement to the effect of TV schedules are subject to change without prior notice etc. etc. blah, blah, blah
  10. Brum would be better off gambling on Scandis rather than these unreliable central European throttle jockeys. Lindback could do you a job, Kim Nilsson. Anybody, they're more suited to British tracks
  11. If you like your Speedway then I suggest you do, you shouldn't have to but treat it as insurance. Another negative though is that the Discovery+ app only seems to stream stereo sound where as it's transmitted in DD5.1 on linear (Unless I've got a setting wrong somewhere)
  12. We have been lucky to have dodged WBD/DSE for so long I suppose. How long have they got it for?
  13. Not to mention WBD themselves, promoting the big launch of the SGP-Verse... whatever the hell it is?!? Which makes it such a strange decision for a company with so many TV channels available to them.
  14. I sincerely hope not... I'm going to be spending half my time round my old mums house sorting her TV out!
  15. No, just able to empathise with the difficulty that some others find in trying to work with technology
  16. And I thought this was all going to be a thing of the past after Brexit I may be being pedantic, but it was not televised, it was streamed. A lot of the more senior folk out there would not have been able to see this if they didn't have an Internet connection and if they did they've still got to work out how to install the app and watch it through that. Why do you think the majority of "Television" programmes are still transmitted in a linear fashion. Not everybody is setup to watch streamed events. Eurosport 1 was available and hasn't it been switched to Quest in the past? So this weekend we've had a "sprint" race not televised and only open to 999 people and a World Championship Grand Prix not televised a new low point for the SGP series under WBD
  17. It's even more puzzling as WBD are the actual promoters of the event... why would you want to go to all of the trouble and expense of purchasing the staging and broadcasting rights and then not televise it, especially on a channel that was only showing recorded sport?
  18. Holder & Lambert are quite comparable to me, both are prepared to make the hard moves, maybe not as extreme as Bartek, Lindgren & Doyle, but because of this they are probably more consistent than Doyle & Lindgren. Bewley has all the talent and speed needed, he's got to decide how much he wants it and if he wants to go to the extremes, especially while Zmarzlik is riding like he is. Laguta has shown in the recent past that it can be done, but Zmarzlik does seem to have upped his game in what he's prepared to do since Laguta was WC.
  19. Is it the first time a GP round has not been televised in its history? I know a few were tucked away on the red button during the Sky era, but at least all those with Sky were able to watch it
  20. Terrible coverage from WBD again tonight, not even going to go into it not being shown on either of the Eurosport channels in favour of WEC and the World Climbing Championships, the after show was also terrible, no real analysis or interviews just a fireworks display on TV! An effing fireworks display on TV! You don't know what you've had until it's gone and what the sport would give to have IMG/BSI back running the show!
  21. As honest as Woffy's interview was he didn't really address the elephant in the room, he clearly backed out of a few moves tonight like he had done for the last few years, the difference tonight was that he had the speed that if he'd made those moves he would have easily qualified for the semis. The thing is the level has moved up another notch since Woffy last won his titles, riders are riding more extreme, Doyle, Holder, Zmarzlik, Lindgren... they'll just make the move and leave the opposition to deal with it and to be fair, Woffy has never been that kind of rider. At least he's not shooting his mouth off so much these days so he's a little more palatable. And I'm afraid that Bewley is pretty much in that same mold, and who can blame them after the injuries they've had. Lambert has the best chance of joining that top table for me, he's a hard rider but isn't making those extreme moves... yet. Great night for Doyley, best he's been since 2016/17. And a pretty decent GP all in all.
  22. Vaculik looks like he's wearing a thong when you see him stood up
