People complain when there is consistent track prep though, look at Dreamboat Phil () in the GP's always prepares a consistent track from round to round and still gets stick for it. Looks like Ippo want to win it rather than provide a spectacle and who can blame them. The only trouble with that is though, is that one of their own riders can't stay on his bike!

Wasn't the track like this when Sheffield were at Foxhole in the KoC final? When Sheffield went down by 20 points. Makes sense for them to prep it the same maybe?

Emil was out of control going into turn 1, I reckon if he'd cleared the track the race would have continued, always baffles me when refs don't put the red's on straight away, then call all four.

For me the NDL needs to be scrapped in favour of compulsory running of 2nd half junior matches, a protected place for a "junior" rider position in a reserve berth of the senior team, with the same reserve also competing in the junior match. Those teams that run exclusively in the NDL to go CL or NORA

While Ekstraliga should not be irrelevant when considering riders who should be gifted a place in the SGP. It shouldn't be the be all and end all. It's been shown time and again that a good Ekstraliga rider does not always translate into being a good rider elsewhere, for whatever reason. Greg Hancock, bang average league rider while he was picking up his later championships. Per Jonsson, bang average in the league before he became World Champion Agree with Hans vs Erik. Hans was undoubtedly a better league rider than Erik. They were pretty level imo when it came to World Championship racing

The thing is there's been a hell of a lot of "opinion" presented as evidence... on both sides. It's the inspectors job to cut through all of this crap and make a decision based on actual evidence, and hopefully not opinion presented as evidence. Just because someday says it's evidence hopefully doesn't mean that it's just taken as read that it is "evidence"

I hope Rob Godfrey has been listening to all this and realises that Speedway really needs to get its house in order if it is to fight off other situations such as this! In the needs of some kind direction in ways of business plans, national strategies etc.
