  1. It's very steamy in here... people understandably don't really want to be sitting next to other bodies
  2. Even if the track is bad, should still be better than it was in Prague... hopefully the kids will just do as their told and get on with it
  3. How many people do you need to start a riot... I'm not sure we have enough here
  4. Gusts injured in practice apparently, replaced by Drew Kemp... sounds like the track is going to be fun again... could be a long one
  5. Hmm... https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/often_wrong,_never_in_doubt#:~:text=often wrong%2C never in doubt (not comparable),that is impervious to failure.
  6. Fair play to them for their support... but what is this Never in Doubt all about... as @Racin Jason 72 says it does come across as arrogant
  7. When did Lebedevs get the nod for this? Sat in the pits on Max Fricke's bike with zero kit around him!
  8. It can be summed up in three words: Never In Doubt
  9. Nick Morris ok to try and ride slow and block an opponent tonight... unlike when he wasn't looking where he was going in the PL Pairs at Wolverhampton and threw his toys out of the pram
  10. In these days of 4 guests and R/R why not? Anything seems to go
  11. 9 heats in 30 mins... if only they'd run the British Final at this pace!
  12. That's what the Rider's Championships are for... British Championship is a national Championship and should be open to any rider with UK nationality imo
  13. I thought he opened his van door and fell out amongst a load of beer tins... if you believe some of the things you read on here
  14. Scunthorpe? I'll be there... I searched for a hotel room last weekend for what it'd cost me to travel from Leicester... found a pub/inn 20 miles from Cardiff for £40, so with my GP ticket for £22 it was a no brainer
  15. Ok, lets look at probably the daftest fixture ever ridden in British Speedway, and that takes some beating... Pretend Plymouth vs Pretend Birmingham, both teams made up of riders pretending to replace a rider pretending to ride for a pretend club: Pretend Plymouth: 1. Richie Worral: Kings Lynn & Leicester pretending to be Ben Barker: Plymouth & Ipswich (+Wetherspoons) 2. R/R for Alfie Bowtell: Plymouth & Kent 3. Lewis Kerr: Kings Lynn (at the time) & Redcar pretending to be Ed Kennett, who was pretending to be a Speedway rider 4. Danyon Hume: Ippo (at the time?) & Glasgow pretending to be MPT: Plymouth & Peterborough 5. Josh Pickering: Kings Lynn & Edinburgh pretending to be Hans Andersen: Plymouth & Peterborough 6. Ben Morley: Plymouth & Kent 7. Harry McGurk: Plymouth & Belle Vue Pretend Birmingham: 1. Kye Thomson: Edinburgh pretending to be Claus Vissing, who was pretending to be a Birmingham rider 2. Jacob Hook: Edinburgh pretending to be Josh Auty? 3. R/R for Stefan Nielsen: Birmingham... but wasn't there 4. Broc Nicol: Glasgow pretending to be Ashley Morris? 5. Justin Sedgmen: Birmingham & Sheffield 6. Lee Complin: Armadale pretending to be James Shanes: Birmingham & Mildenhall 7. James Pearson: Birmingham! Woo Hoo! an actual Birmingham rider! ... I'm going for a lie down
  16. Add them both together and you need to be Inspector Morse to actually determine who is guesting for who and from which club! At the moment there just seems to be a pool of riders that clubs are picking to get a match on... with the fat kid stood by himself as the last pick!
