This would be done and dusted by now if we'd been running R/R -

It may not attract them at the moment, but... if the sport is taken seriously by the media, crowds increase, a juicy tv contract is forthcoming, then who knows? -

I'd say UK clubs, when choosing their race night need to determine when they think their best crowds would be... That is when a rider is going to have to make their mind up whether a 28 (ish) league contract in the UK (and for some the right to move here) is better than whatever the other leagues offer. -

There will be 14 tracks in operation next season, assuming we don't lose any more before then, meaning 70 riders and not 80 and I don't see why any riders should be excluded as long as they can fulfil all of their British League fixtures on whatever night their club decides to ride (home and away). -
AND... why is this even a topic ๐คทโโ๏ธ

Maybe he's gotten mixed up between Pole and Poole ๐

Riding in Poland I understand... and here's me thinking he rode for Poole!

Everybody can see this apart from the people that run the sport unfortunately. -
Were King's Lynn not under "special measures" last year as regards calling matches off? Didn't they have to seek permission from the governing body? In my opinion that should be the case for every club until an independent match official is on site 2 hours before a meeting at which point it is their decision to postpone or abandon a meeting... unless they're at Belle Vue where the nurse can call the meeting off, ooooh matron!

Birmingham v Oxford - 21st July

Doesn't matter if they have any rain or how much it'll never be as wet as that Sheffield match! ๐๐ -
I don't buy this season ticket excuse... clubs should just roll forward the cancelled meeting credit to next season or refund it if the customer is not renewing, it's not exactly rocket science... and whoever it was that brought up concessions is (with respect) just living on a planet! Probably one of the main reasons why King's Lynn have such small income from sponsors and spectators is because they don't know from one week to the next whether they're going to get their company exposure or able to attend a Speedway meeting. It's not about King's Lynn, although they don't have a great track record with postponements, it's about getting the league campaign completed on time with tv schedules and rider commitments etc.
